Are any of these "detox diets" actually good? Are they effective and healthy? If they can get bad shit out of my bidy I'd give one a go, but am wondering if its psuedoscience unhealthy bullshit.

You could do a full-bowel cleanse to remove any parasites or fungal overgrowths. Not sure how that might affect your bowel since I would think the good bacteria down there would be fucked up too.

Is there a good rule of thumb for calorie deficit to weight loss? For example, 500 calories a day deficit works out to about x pounds less (per day, week, or something?)

Or is it different for different people?
