Recently I started to care about my clothes and want to dress properly.
I don't know what to buy to start my wardrobe.
So.... what do you guys recommend for a starting wardrobe? (what type of clothes + colours)
Bonus points if you could add a picture like this so it makes things more clear
I recommend you read the sticky, lurk more before posting, and check inspo threads instead of archiving good threads

Im probably the newest fag on this board, my bad
Things get dirty and can't be too loose
Also Safety Boots are rule.
Americana "work" shirts
Chore coat or some sort heavy canvas coat (see Filson)
Carhartt work pants/double knee carpenter jeans
Plain leather work boots
>>12666806
I guess really just go full americana without going too crazy with materials or colours, since you're limited in terms of environment. Like no plaid or heavy sweaters, but go crazy with lighter jackets and multi pocket pants.

Make sure your clothes fit well, which can be hard with workwear brands. avoid branding. look to vintage workers/military for utilitarian inspo
How do I do a pompadour in this fashion? the only tutorials i find are just slightly puffed up slicked back hair and i want something that goes forward
>>12666785
why the fuck would anyone want this
>>12666789
go back to your street wear thread, nigger
Do you have another picture? Till then, maybe this will help?

is it possible to be /fa/ while being a bit chubby?
i'm not talking fat ass McGee kind of chubby, just a bit.
>inb4 lose weight already you faggot
i'm working on it,i just need to know if in the meantime i can be at least a 6/10
no
better off being enormous and own it like chris farley
>>12666754
if you're planning on losing a lot of weight buying clothes is pointless anyway. they won't fit you properly in a month or two.
>>12666781
This. You can either be one of those fat dudes decked out in hundred dollar clothing. Or actually in-shape, feeling healthier, and possibly more confident about yourself.
Like it ain't even about going to the Gym, just start running everyday, but don't push yourself so hard that you are too sore to workout the next day. Replace full meals and just munch on trail mix and drink water when you are hungry.

What does /fa/ think?
https://youtu.be/ZL4VTMwT4s0
>>12666566
I think he does a good job of helping people buy basic things on a budget, especially since it seems to be targeted towards college or high school kids.
>>12666566
i think it's epic how fucking generic all of this looks. everything about it is typical. i thought the visual aid for the bracelets was funny (the expensive car). bracelets are fucking gay and so are the moslem london faggots that wear this kind of street urchin shit.
nice jackets btw they look like theyre made in china
>>12666570
Was thinking the same thing, pretty cheap with good styles but when he was doing the 'twirl' the shirts looked too parachut-y
I bought my first proper pair of jeans recently and I am in doubt of whether I should alter the fit or not. Left pic shows how they fit normally, although I prefer to wear them with a pinroll like on my left leg. In the right pic I rolled them up around my right thigh to show how I’d like them to fit, as I find they look a bit baggy otherwise.
But I want a second opinion, is the fit good as it is (with or without a pinroll)?
Can a fit be achieved like in the right pic by tapering or shortening them?
thank you hungry skelly
>>12666534
No, they are already too skinny.
no, they fit perfect, jeans under 15.5cm hem in 2017 are a meme (if you are of average height and around size 9 shoe, only acceptable if you are way below these two things)
>tfw you will never be cowboy
>tfw no 60's
>tfw no western
Why even live? I fucking hate modern fashion.

Btw:
>Hates modern fashion
>post a ss15 pic
this is honestly really cool
What's the gayest thing you ever wore? In the mid to late 2000's I couldn't find skin tight jeans so I had to wear girls jeans because I was scene.
>>12666471
bump
>>12666471
wasnt that normal like in the 70s?
>>12666471
Just yesterday I sucked on 2 7" dicks until they busted in my mouth. After that I rimmed my bf and fell asleep with my titty in his mouth.
your "girl's jeans" story is pretty weaksauce desu

>>12666440
shits actually pretty fun to watch. Even though its always dadcore or r/menswear its nice to see a positive change and the guys on the show always end up looking much better than before
>>12666440
Youtube is getting pretty big, i wonder when/if it or it's successor will be bigger than TV.
Alpha has a bald spot
Did Nerve cause the basic girl superstar trend?
I never really noticed girls wearing them until the movie
no its been a thing since 2015, plus that movie wasn't popular enough to start a trend
STOP SAYING ALL MY FITS ARE CRINGE!!!
They probably are.
