my friend who's a model got scouted when he was around 15 years old, he was really tall (6ft1 which is tall for 15 i guess) and i think height factored in more than looks but im pretty sure he was literally walking around in public and got asked either way there is literally a wage gap between men and women in the sense that men get fucked without lube in terms of pay

i have modeled before but not really super professionally, just for like friends companies.
i probably should try to get into it since i'm broke and it can pay pretty well, but i don't really look very west coast model-y, so i think its not in the cards right now.
if you're conventionally attractive and on the west coast you can do it. if you're non conventionally attractive in nyc good luck but if you can swing it and don't know what you're doing with life i recommend at least trying it out because its easy money.
just look up modelling agencies wherever u live and they'll have like submissions or whatever. sometimes they have drop in days.
they're going to ask for a shirtless photo, a portrait, and probably a profile picture. so get some good ones taken by a buddy.

my very boring story is i know some people with clothing companies and i modeled some shit for them that was in like the back pages of such rags as gq, with a very very small 2 inch by 1.5 inch photo or what have you. so i never lived that cool lifestyle and now i'm probably too old to get into it, but i hate having my picture taken anyway.
that said i've been dead broke so far in my 20s, and if i could go back in time, instead of being super idle i probably would of gotten into it if possible. i don't think i'm really hot enough but some people have said i could do it on the east coast because i'm a bit unique looking.
