Well that's useless. Unless there are a ton of psychics, in which case I might get a job helping people avoid them.
I want to read about this big guy and don't know what to read, I was hoping you anons could guide me a bit.

Use Google. There, I've saved you the trouble of making countless threads for simple questions in the future.
52 features him and black adam in a nice way, but mostly adam
black adam is more interesting anyway

You're basically redirecting me to some random comicvine thread with no selection at all, anon. Doesn't help a lot.

Thank you. I'll look for it, then.
Is it wrong I loved the Rita and Runt moments in Animaniacs? Bernadette Peters' singing was phenomenal and was easily the best written songs you could write about cats.
Why would it be wrong?
They were pretty enjoyable. Not a main draw of the show, but certainly not the weakest segments.
I first learned of Bernadette Peters from Animaniacs and then saw this.

Think they'll be back in the reboot?
I distanced myself from it from the beginning because I thought they were pandering to Gwen Stacy/Deadpool thing just like Spider Gwen. I found out that she wasn't really related to either and /co/ seems to love her so I gave it a shot. Now don't get me wrong. I like the series. Just a couple things dont add up for me. If she hates deadpool comics, why is her merc/hero name and costume so similar to his?
>Gwen Poole lmao
If she doesnt care about her secret identity, and knows/assumes shes in a comic, wouldn't she want to be original rather than cater to the gwen/deadpool fans? Keep the comic name as Gwenpool, as that's her name, but make her hero name something like
Excelseer- Stan Lee reference/Comic Awareness Powers
Spoiler - Knows all published secrets. I personally like this name a lot more than Gwenpool
>>94389297
she probably figured riding off the coat tail of someone with a stupid amount of plot armor would help her.
>>94389297
>If she hates deadpool comics, why is her merc/hero name and costume so similar to his?
I think Ronnie just did her thing and Gwen wasn't being picky.
Hell, she's got no pants but wants to quit shaving. so she's not really a huge fan of her own costume
>>94389297
I think her name is just coincidence and her costume was just Ronnie assuming that Gwenpool was an alias rather than an actual name.
Though I wish they had made a point in the beginning to establish that she was deliberately ripping off two of the most popular characters just to get easy popular.
It's also be fun if by the end of this she finds out she was never real and her creation started as a fan-pandering variant cover that got its own ongoing thanks to cosplay whores.
So after so many years, I finally decided to actually afford a small comicbook collection (usually read E-Comics but only ongoings). Thing is, I want collections but really don't know where to start and what to actually get.
I know it may sound pathetic to most of you but this is what I have planned to get so far
>Superman: All-Star Superman, Last Son of Krypton, Red Son
>Batman: Hush, The Dark Knight Strikes Back, The Long Halloween
>JLA: Justice (Alex Ross), Kingdom Come, The New Frontier
>Marvel: 1602, Spider-Man Blue, Daredevil: The Man Without Fear
Haven't read most of these before so I really don't know what to expect and whether all of these are worth buying. Also, is the regular Kingdom Come book (232 pages) a whole story or do I have to read anything else?
The /shelf/ thread might be most helpful here if you want to know stuff like whether a particular book is bound well or if there's any other issues that bug people.
Very generally though I would recommend checking your public library to see what they have and also downloading some things to see what you like. Marvel Unlimited might help too just to go through shit? Only then after you get a feel for your taste can you decide what you actually want to own.
Up, Up, and Away is probably my favorite Superman arc. All-Star I find reads better once you have more context, but you'll probably still enjoy it on its own.
>Also, is the regular Kingdom Come book (232 pages) a whole story or do I have to read anything else?
That's all you need.
you've made the rookie mistake of buying loeb books
>>94389255
thank you for all the tips
>public library
I'm actually a Eurofag so libraries here probably have zero comicbooks whatsoever. I have to buy all that stuff from Amazon
I already downloaded some of the stuff because I always hear that these are pretty much the most famous books out there. Thing is, I'd like to get some input regarding books that suck and books that pretty much everyone likes. I would really go with the mainstream opinions on this one
>All-Star I find reads better once you have more context, but you'll probably still enjoy it on its own
What context? All-Star is one of the books I have read before and I never had the feeling that it had some prior plot to it
Is anyone here more excited for JL than Thor 3? I am. We know Thor 3 will be good, but JL could go any way and to me that's way more interesting.
I'm excited because it's the first time the justice league is on the big screen. I couldn't care less what these fucking losers on /co/ and /tv/ think about the DCEU. I enjoy anything DC puts out. Suicide squad was the one movie that I only sort of enjoyed. I like what they're trying to do with this universe. We don't need both movie companies doing the same shit.
>>94389092
Why wouldn't I be more excited for JL than Thor 3? JL is the first time we are seeing a proper live action Justice League. We have already had 2 Thor movies and both were garbage. I have zero interest in this new Thor movie - especially after that comic-con trailer which looked cheap as fuck.
>>94389158
I like DCEU. Fuck you autistic fucks
How different would the season be if Jack was mauled to death by the wolf after splashing the bucket of water on it?
it would be hilarious
>>94388760
Better ending than this artistic trash we were given.
>>94388747
Ha-ha! Rehashed debates thread
I figured the season would turn out to be Jack and a few more adventures, or him having more adventures while also getting a waifu. It was fine, but well below the best episodes of the original seasons. I'm not sure the season could've been any worse, though

Should I read Wolfman's Titans or Claremont's X-MEN?
Yes.
Claremont, I could never get into anything Wolfman wrote. The George Perez art is a treat for sure though.
Also if you go down the X-Men route the early stuff is rough and classic Bronze Age wordy.
Lobdell's X-Men
So her power is saying shit backwards, huh? She's kind of shit.
>>94387948
No saying things backwards is how she casts spells. Her power is being a witch.

But why Backwards? Why not Latin?

Last I saw she is supposed to be one of the most powerful people. As long as she can say it backwards, she can do it.
