I would still put Under the Red Hood above it. Maybe New Frontier.

Because all they know about DC is Batman.

Nolan's batman primarily, maybe exposure to certain TAS series which is odd because even the leonized BTAS had its goofy moments. This is a perception that wasn't helped with Man of Steel trying to copy Nolan's formula down to making the movies as ugly and brown as possible, turning his parents into self centered pricks, and the final act into destruction porn.

Honestly I doubt a lot of casuals even know who Billy Batson is and would ask why Shazam and flash share a logo.

Because most of them have only been exposed to Batman and the newer mainstream portrayals of Superman, The Flash and Green Arrow which are pretty dark and serious (except for Flash, occasionally).

I haven't seen her in anything since pre-Flashpoint. I think even Morrison when he brought back Kathy didn't use her (but I might be forgetting).

Meta-wise obviously she's the first.

I only read the first couple of issues, but Ivy just had a mini that ended. She wasn't really evil (obviously still a bad person but was mostly doing her own thing) but I wouldn't call her anti-heroic either. Maybe that changed in the later half.

Harley is just Deadpool these days.

I was talking about the original gem colonists. Centipeetle was one of them but for some reason stayed on earth long enough to get hit by the diamond corruption ray that happened at the end of the war.

I always found it weird that Amethyst is shown about 20 years ago as being a little kid. Gems are supposed to come out already in their final state. Plus she was around prior to the formation of the town, so by the time Greg showed up she was already at least over a century year old.
