"Normies" isn't our word you fucking normalfag.
>>85875728
Who even is this? Barbara? Jeez, they really did hit with the topical youth stick way to hard.
>>85876363
Try calling me normal to my face, asshole. See what happens.

If you knew what the writer was like, you would not be surprised.
These are allegedly the plots of Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man 4" and Marc Webb's "The Amazing Spider-Man 3" (from before Sony went into panic mode after Garfield got fired). Would you prefer either one over what "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is shaping out?
SPIDER-MAN 4
>Peter Parker and Mary-Jane Watson are still dating. Peter is still selling pictures to the Daily Bugle and working as an assistant to Dr. Curt Connors, while MJ is still struggling with her acting career.
>J. Jonah Jameson retires and sells the Daily Bugle to businessman Adrian Toomes (John Malkovich). Peter meets Toomes' foster daughter, Felicia Hardy (Anne Hathaway), and they develop a relationship. Upon learning of this, MJ breaks up with Peter and moves to Los Angeles for a potential breakout role in a movie.
>Toomes turns out to be a criminal. Felicia's father was his partner and when he died in a heist gone wrong, Toomes adopted Felicia. Toomes has now built an armored wingsuit and plan to take over New York City as the Vulture, using the Daily Bugle to expose and undermine his enemies' operations and build up his own profile, while also publically denouncing the Vulture's crimes to maintain his identity a secret.
>Spider-Man is outmatched by the Vulture, but manages to figure out his weakness and reveals his secret identity to Felicia, using her to appeal to Toomes and make him stop fighting.
>In their fateful encounter, Toomes' identity is exposed and he refuses to go down quietly, and ends up causing his own death. Felicia blames Peter for causing Toomes' death and forcing her to be partially responsible as well. She then departs to live with relatives in Europe, swearing revenge on Spider-Man.
>Jameson buys the Daily Bugle back, having found retirement extremely boring.
>Peter realizes he really loves MJ and really fucked everything up and it sort of ends on a cliffhanger with him pondering all the shit that went down.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3
>Spider-Man has been blamed for the death of Gwen Stacy and Captain Jean DeWolff has the police out for him.
>Peter meets Mary-Jane Watson, but feels he isn't ready for romance.
>The Gentleman breaks Harry Osborn out of prison, having assembled the Sinister Six (Mysterio, Kraven, Rhino, Vulture and Doctor Octopus) to help him destroy Spider-Man.
>The Six lure Spider-Man into a trap, but he fights them off and escapes back to Aunt May's house, where she finds out who Peter is. The Six follow him and attack the house, but Peter manages to rescue Aunt May.
>Aunt May pleads for Peter to leave with her, but he sends her away and returns to face the Six after they threaten to destroy New York City unless Spider-Man faces them.
>Spider-Man shows up for a public battle with the Six in which he's outmatch and severely beaten, but refuses to stand down. Realizing he's a hero, DeWolff breaks orders to just keep the fight contained and leads the police in helping Spider-Man fight and forcing the Six to retreat.
>Spider-Man figures out they're at OsCorp Tower and faces them, separating the group and taking them down one by one. Doctor Octopus betrays Harry and leaves, having stolen all of his money. Harry and Peter have a violent final confrontation that ends with Harry impaled by his own glider.
>Spider-Man is embraced as a hero by everyone except the Daily Bugle, the Six minus Harry and Ock are locked up, OsCorp is dismantled, clearing Peter's parents name, and he realizes he's ready to move on and asks MJ out on a date.
>>85875663
>>Peter realizes he really loves MJ and really fucked everything up and it sort of ends on a cliffhanger with him pondering all the shit that went down.
That would be an awful ending. They kept pursuing the Peter and MJ romance without making any progress.
Neither plot sounds meaty enough to fill out a whole movie.
>>85875663
What about all the Bruce Campbell as Mysterio art that Raimi leaked a while back?
/doag/: Tonight's strip.
Is shit actually going to go down for once or is Willis going to cheap out again?
Dammit, I was gonna make a thread.
Oh well. Maybe tomorrow.
I'm going to bet that Amber's just gonna puss out and run away just before things actually get good.
>A stranger comes to town, touches nobody's lives, and leaves.
>>85875565
hang on, isn't Leslie at that rally too?
>>85875565
I just wonder what does it take to follow such a terrible all over the place story.
I've been working on my shit, trying to create like a good flow of stories before I start publishing, trying to create different characters so I can tell different stories and try my best to have everything make sense.
This shit feels just so disjointed, like is just about random moments with people just feeling like shit for meaningless stuff!
Most of the characters are either fucking pissed at somebody else or crying or making those random reference in the last panel, like what the fuck is this shit???
Good. Fuck Johnny and Plank.
>>85875209
There is no scenario where Johnny doesn't become a serial killer due to this.
Great, now without Plank to use as a focus for his excess psychic energy, Johnny's latent powers are going to grow beyond his control and he's going to end up destroying the cul-de-sac along with everyone in it, possibly including himself.
Reminder that Ed > Johnny in EE&E online.

Doesn't Aaroon Paul produce or write for the show too? Just imagine every idea ever pitched for this show came out in Todd's voice.
>So I like... uhhh... have a tot~tally awesome idea BOjack"
Guess who's back.
GUESS WHO'S BACK IN THE MOTHER FUCKING HOUSE?WITH A FAT DICK FOR YOUR MOTHER FUCKING MOUTH?
A comic with shitty interior art.
Don't you fucking dare do it.
>if she says mrs dash im gonna lose it

>YFW she says mrs dash.

I masturbated to that episode. I'm not proud of it.
>>85874894
>>85875683
>watching that episode as a teenaged boy going through puberty
I wasn't proud, but I was erect.
Which generation grew up in a better time for cartoons?
Both generations are self serving assholes who will think they had better cartoons growing up out of some weird combination of nostalgia and wanting to be superior.
>>85874790
Sound like Baby Boomers.
>>85874803
>85874803
It happens with every single generation describing the one that succeeds it. The only thing that changes is the outlet it's expressed on.
> TAMPA BAY, FL — Hurricane Gaston has lost a little more steam in the Atlantic Ocean as forecasters continue to track tropical depressions aiming for the Florida and North Carolina coastlines. Two other disturbances remain under close watch: one in the Gulf of Mexico, the other in the Atlantic.
Hurricane Gaston you gotta pull yourself together!
I was waiting for this moment. Thanks OP.
Gosh it disturbs me to see you, Gaston
Looking so down in the gulf
>>85874574
>No wrecks Florida's asshole like Gaston!
Nowadays we'd be lucky to get comic book films even half as decent as Spider-Man 3 and XM: The Last Stand.
Back then we were living in the golden age of capeshit, we were spoiled, after masterpieces like Batman Begins and Spider-Man 2 we had come to expect the best of the best.
Compared to now though with uninspired tv cinematography duds like Civil War and incoherent studio abominations like Suicide Squad being released, it retroactively makes the old CBM films we used to shit on look better.

What is the purpose of this thread
>>85874542
This.
Reminder that Red was the best comic book movie followed by Men in Black
Does anybody remember this show? I always loved crossovers.
This show was the shit.
The Halloween movie was pretty disappointing, though.
>>85874247
I loved that movie. Wasnt there some musical number for the villians?
No one does crossovers like Gaston!

Do you prefer him being referred to as Slade or Deathstroke?
>>85874052
The Terminator.

Slade
Deathstroke is hilariously edgy

Best Batman Villian
Say /co/ what are some of the best ways to name superheroes?
What are some of the best named heroes, or some of the worst?
I'm trying to come up with some names.
Hummingbird.
Simple and deceptive.
>She is the reincarnation of Aztec god Huitzilopochtli ("Hummingbird on the Left"). The deity of Sun, force of will, War, blue heaven and human sacrifice.
I'm always partial to using a random generator and then picking out the cool names and building characters and powers over that. I'm doing that for my superhero game, so far it's pretty great.
>>85873793
Take the most defining trait you character, like what animal they're based on, and stick Man/Woman/Boy/Girl, etc. (whichever one is most appropiate) at the end of their codename. Examples:
-Superman
-Batman
-Spider-Man
-Wonder Woman
-Aquaman
-Hawkman
-Iron Man
-Ant-Man
-Invisible Woman
-Animal Man
-Catwoman
-Iceman
-Ultraman
And on, and on.
For example, this >>85874045 character should be named Hummingbird Girl, or Hummingbird Lass, or Hummingbird Gal.
So, I finally got a chance to see this. What did you all think of it?
I thought it was a decent action movie. Didn't get a very "Superman" vibe from it, though.
>>85873646
Faora got my dick hard. That's about it.
>>85874025
Do you have a review blog I can follow?
It's a good elseworld story about if superman was raised with fearful oarents, making him a very doubtful Superman. I'm glad it was made but it's not the Superman story i'd want to open up a CMU
What are some of the best superhero movies? I really liked this one. The dark, selfish, and tragic portrayal of superheros in this movie really gave it depth
