Say /co/ what are some of the best ways to name superheroes?
What are some of the best named heroes, or some of the worst?
I'm trying to come up with some names.
Hummingbird.
Simple and deceptive.
>She is the reincarnation of Aztec god Huitzilopochtli ("Hummingbird on the Left"). The deity of Sun, force of will, War, blue heaven and human sacrifice.
I'm always partial to using a random generator and then picking out the cool names and building characters and powers over that. I'm doing that for my superhero game, so far it's pretty great.

Take the most defining trait you character, like what animal they're based on, and stick Man/Woman/Boy/Girl, etc. (whichever one is most appropiate) at the end of their codename. Examples:
-Superman
-Batman
-Spider-Man
-Wonder Woman
-Aquaman
-Hawkman
-Iron Man
-Ant-Man
-Invisible Woman
-Animal Man
-Catwoman
-Iceman
-Ultraman
And on, and on.
For example, this >>85874045 character should be named Hummingbird Girl, or Hummingbird Lass, or Hummingbird Gal.

Go away, Brainy.

>BRICKFROG
doesn't diddle daddle and gets right to the point
I've got a fondness for [Color] [Noun] names, personally.

Trait/Power/Descriptor - Man/Boy/Woman/Girl
Military Rank - Power/Trait/Power/Descriptor
Anything cool sounding

Settle down, Fagman.

Marvel has some of the worst names. Absorbing Man, for instance, can mimic the properties of a material, but he doesn't actually absorb anything. Vision is a robot that can change it's density and has no "super-vision" or illusion related powers. These are the only two I can think of off the top of my head, but there are more.

It blew my mind when I found out it's actually a pun and not just a mad libs name.

It's weird but the cleverest names tend to come from parodies. Tick, Empowered and Venture Bros are all pretty good for names.

I'd bet that Iron Man's suit probably contains very little iron.

Because they're more about being funny and clever than being cool like real names which tend to be a bit more boring for it. I can't imagine how proud whichever one of Jack or Doc feels about Wide Wale.

oh wow
>>85879706
post good parodies
