Okay I don't even watch this gay ass show but it's obvious he's connected to Rose Quartz
A 30 minute musical special of steven universe with covers of famous beatles songs
>>89453815
I ain't doing that on a fucking phone
>>89453815
A 30 minute episode of Steven Universe that is entirely set around the rebellion, one of Pearl's memories/recounts of it at least.
A war/love story told in a partially musical style, telling a story of Rose and Pearl leading the charge on a covert operation along with Bismuth and two or so never before seen gems.
Pearl reminises on her relationship with Rose against the backdrop of this grand war for Earth. It ends with a victory for the Crystal Gems but a sobering reminder of the price they would pay at the end of the war.

What does /co/ think of The Great American Novel site/project/theory?
I've only just found out about it and am still undecided as to whether it's genius or autism. The historical parts are really informative, at any rate.

Is he right?
Is this how comics can be saved?

Totally worth a read.
>>89453786
It's an interesting read and sounds cool as it's own alternate Earth, but I can't believe anyone would think the collective narrative every Marvel book has been carrying is about people who have been hypnotized by alien shapeshifters and granted super powers by drinking said shapeshifters milk (since they can change into cows).
If you're going to read it, don't go into it expecting authorial intent to be highly regarded.
in a creepy nostalgic mood.
what was your favorite special or what did you like to watch during October?
>>89453543
I really liked the Halloween Spooktacular. I also liked the Monster House or something.
>>89453712
terror tales of the park was always my go to. it's a shame regular show ended.
This Halloween short has no right to be as well-animated as it is.
Just skip the first 2 minutes and you'll be fine.
Cerebus Thread.
Lets raise a glass for the longest graphic novel in the English language, and its wacky misogynist creator!
Feel free to join in.
Ozymandias is short-sided. There is no way of maintaining peace on Earth between countries. Russia would probably just use America's time of weakness as an opportunity to strike. Also, how can you believe in law if people go unpunished for their crimes, because their crimes somehow ended up causing something good to happen at some point? It's stupid. Rorschach was right.
if you agree*

>short-sided

>Russia would probably just use America's time of weakness as an opportunity to strike.
Russia understands that it needs America as an ally to help defend against the upcoming alien invasion.
Here's something I'm not clear on when it comes to this show. What exactly is Steven? Is he his mother? His mother fused with Greg's sperm? Doesn't that already make him a fusion instead of a gem human hybrid? Or is that the same thing?
It's deliberately ambiguous. The only thing that is clear is that Rose and Steven can't exist at the same time.
He could technically be something similar to the mirror they had Lapis in. Official word from the crew is, or at least was, that Rose shapeshifted a functional human reproductive system and gestated Steven like a normal human child, so he could have been essentially custom-built to be compatible with her gem.

A chimera.
>genetic mutation allows Storm to control the weather
How is this possible/how do they reconcile this supernatural feat with science in the comics? I thought a mutant gene was just that, a mutated gene
kys
Your objection is a perfectly logical one.
The answer is a mix of COMIC BOOKS! and "Celestials manipulation"
Can probably manipulate water and temperature on a subconscience level.
The worst /co/ ships

I like the Superman and Wonder Woman ship

>Cisco sent us this. It's from three days ago. Nobody knew because the alarms weren't tripped.
Jesus Christ three days and nobody went to check on her? To give her food and/or clean her excrement from the corner?

It's all automated now.

Holy shit star labs has awful security

You know what they need? One of those pressure plates like in a hotel minifridge, so if somebody breaks out, it goes off.
Steven is shaping up to be a better leader than Garnet. Will she give up the role as leader for Steven? Or will she have a problem with it?
>>89452185
Anyone can be a better leader than Garnet and the gems, they always try to solve everything with violence. Only Steven has the common sense to question things first.
Rose was the CG leader before Garnet was so it makes sense
It kinda looks like the will be no apparent leader eventually. Pearl and Amethyst looked up to her not because she was a good leader per se, but due to them having their own complexes, which made them look up to Garnet for approval. Yet, they are getting closer and closer to putting up with them.
As much as I want Danny/Misty together, she's with another guy and he's single and alone. Recently, I've been having mixed feeling about the ship. Just wondering what potential woman do you think would be good for Danny?
>At least until MCUSynergy
Anyway, hype for Iron Fist?
Misty, fuck Falcon.

It's just awkward...
You know, I was just wondering.
Time-travel is a thing in the Marvel universe, isn't it? Steve Rogers, Captain America, is a man out of time - Couldn't they just use a time platform to send him back where he should be?
I mean, there's not much reason now since Bucky's alive and Cap's going steady with Agent 13. But couldn't they have sent him home after they discovered him in the ice? Like, what harm would it have done, really?
Surely Steve would've been a lot happier to have gone home, raised a family with Sharon, and lived happily ever after. Maybe one last great adventure to rescue Bucky, but then he's done and gets to live out his life in the golden postwar era.
Not sending him home seems kind of cruel.
>>89451780
Time travel wasn't invented yet.
>>89451805
But it happens all the time. Doctor Doom has a time platform, for one.
>Because going backwards isn't a solution. If you had offered me that trip when I first came out of the ice, I probably would have taken it. But experience has given me a better perspective. The people I knew, grew old, found love, made families, sacrificed themselves for what they believed in, going back would change that and it's not my place do that. Wouldn't feel right to take so much, I'm not built that way. I don't claim to understand the science of it, but if it was some alternate timeline they wouldn't really be the people I knew, it would be a lie, a cheat of fate.
>In the end you don't run, you don't quit. Nostalgia for the past can be comforting but you can't live there, you have to move forward, you learn from history, you live with the choices that are made, and you strive to make the world a little better each day. That's how you build a brighter future, and that's what I need to do. It's who I am.
