How do you determine whether you've 'made it', 4chan?

It's payday today for me & I'm a guest at my sister's gym & this is a topic I think about.

Are you a success if you have a job, housing, gym membership & a car?

>>
That's the basics of the average adult.

I wouldn't really call that success but it can be if you grew up broke or abused or something.

maybe when you're 16

There is no "made it".

I just did a survey for some market research and got over 1000 responses.

How much percent of the respondents should like my idea for it to be considered worthy ?

How likely is it for them to actually buy your product/service?
>price?
>upfront payment/monthly?
>competitors?
>nice-to-have, luxury or actual need?

Let's assume based on these questions that you think 10% of those potential buyers that showed interest will actually close a deal with you.
>How much profit would you make from that?
>Calculate your run rate/burn down
>How long could you survive
>>
>>1162418

>Are you retared?

It all depends on your margins, fixed costs, whether this sample actually represents the population you are interested in, etc.

If you literally thought the question you asked would be a good one, you' re far too stupid to start a business.
>>
>>1162425
I conducted a survey within the target market, and got 50% and over positive responses for the features within the product, was more wondering whether this is an indicator that it's something people want/ if that's good enough for partners to be interested.

>>1162428
Not retarded, I always love seeing autist bizfags(who've never started a business) like you trying to bring people down - get out of your moms basement before you throw shit bro

yo /biz/ so I got this job as a dishwasher to try to make some extra money during college but it fucking sucks. I get paid shit for hard work and I inhale the chlorine fumes from the washer and it gives me bad headaches

anyways I dont even need the money or experience so what is the best way to quit?

I work tomorrow and do want to go so what should I do? I kinda just dont want to show up but that would be a dick move and it would be awkward cause I would still have to come in to get my paycheck in a few days

giving 2 weeks notice is customary but if you don't care then just don't show
>>
>>1162241
If you don't care about 2 weeks, at least wait til you get your check, then inform them in person that this will be your last day. It's ok if you tell them at the end of your day.
>>
>>1162245
yeah but would it be weird to just quit suddenly and then come back next to get my paycheck?

Fair enough.

Finished reading Dent's the Demographic Cliff and the man has been spot on regarding economic events in the past and most recently the late 2015 sell-off. He's not a perma bear like Schiff or Faber either. He's called bull markets as well.
Looking to off my 500oz stack that I've accumlated since July 2015. Recently graduated and it was more of an impulse to keep buying. I prefer p2p lending or dividend stocks (MO in particular, shareholder since 2010, keep puffin).
Any experience selling silver? What's the markdown/brokers fee?

>>
>>1162081
please highlight the reasons i'm interested in buying silver cause of the dollar bubble and cause silver already under the return as for mining and in short supply.

i'm aware that some powerful groups are playing with paper silver and pressing the price down i imagine they want to make money on it down and up.

i figured it has to go up eventually i just don't know when.

it might even hit $7 per ounce they say.
>>
Read that book as well. I'm more inclined to buy into local agriculturally zoned land and local businesses rather than buy silver.
>>
>>1162126
well i'm a poorfag in a poorfag country and a city boy also government tampering skyrocketed the prices of real estate you could build new homes on, so that is also off the plate.

i planned on buying a piece of land in the outskirts where development would be expected in the coming decades but as of yet cheap but they fucked it all to hell prematurely before i got the money.

Graduating in a few weeks (Business Management) and I have no clue what type of jobs I should be applying for.

All I know is that I would like a job where I sit around at a desk and do stuff. I have a lot of work experience but it is all shitty jobs like restaurant and retail work.

What are some good jobs where you just sit around at a desk most of the day?

Tl;dr Australia is returning to pre-2000 level of GDP. Pic below is a list of unis I can escape to in the US. Anyone have opinions on them?

Australia relied on exporting dirt to escape the GFC and did not reform or implement any innovative action to ensure our post dirt survival. In 2007, politicians big noted themselves , taking the credit for coincidental all time high commodity prices that prevented a recession.

Relative prosperity, Chinese hiding their money and immigration caused a property bubble akin to Ireland and there is still regulatory ammo to further inflate the thing. Immigration is trending down however property approvals for new builds have peaked. House prices continue to rise on false demand.

People have the attitude that you can't lose in property and thus don't consider much else when planning their future, they are sitting in a 20%p.a investment..once they get a little equity they will buy another money.. this results in the majority of people being lazy and uneducated.

Political and economic understanding is at face value 'Can I afford the new SUV Linda has? NO?! Fuckin' government!'. Political debate ends with SJWs and new laws are passed without anyone lifting a boomerang.

Anyway, the joints fucked and I wanted out.
The pic related has the universities available to me for my Masters.

Has anyone had any experience with any of them?

Hello,

My name is Jim Jones. I thank you for contacting our firm.

I hereby confirm your need for a 40-acre pyramid made out of modern glass in a skyscraper fashion the size of roughly 6 times the tallest building in downtown Seattle.

We carefully examined all details and came to the conclusion of a quote of $1,480,008,000 and 20 cents.

We are looking forward to our partnership.
