I have around £3500 in the bank and I'm currently living with my mother. I despise her and she's on benefits (welfare), the money is from a student loan.
Our relationship is growing increasingly terrible and I feel trapped. I want to work so badly, I want to contribute and make my own money. Problem is, if I work, they take her benefits (welfare) away.

Is day trading a good way to make some extra money?
I'm a student so not looking to get rich, but I was fucking around with some investment simulation apps and noticed that especially cryptocurrency seems to go up and down pretty consistently during the day - most coins were really low at night and went up considerably during the day.
Anyone here into this and could share some experience?
Is it worth it to put more research in or are the gains not worth it?
I was thinking I would open up an account with some online bank and set aside 50€ a month to try it out, but want to hear some advice first.

You're not going to get incinerated like those playing the game then if you don't take out a second mortgage on the home you just bought to pay for the next one. There were people who played their credit games close to their chest, and when shit hit the fan and everybody was upside-down in their mortgages, they were able to renegotiate the loans. The people who weren't able to renegotiate were the jobless people and those who had too much home compared to their income, or those who had stabbed their credit to death riding the bubble to the top.

Ok /biz/ I need some serious help about my future. I'm currently a senior in high school, and I make about $1-2k a week. The year is over in 3 months and then I'll be stuck at a standstill.
I don't know if I should go the original college route straight off the bat and use the money I'm making (its from online work) to pay for my tuition, or do I seize this great money opportunity and go travel the world with 3-4 of my friends doing the same work as me. I don't even really like my major (engineering) I'm only doing that because it'll make my parents proud. (Sorry for the bad layout, I'm on my phone)

I'm 25, paying $450/month for rent, and make $85k a year plus bonuses. I'm trying to save for a house, and the amount of money one must save is astounding (I've about 5k saved up, due to a stupid drinking incident that I'm not too proud of..). Anyways, I owe $20k on my car, and I'm a huge Tesla fan. How stupid would it be for me to reserve the Tesla 3 tomorrow? I understand it's a new $35k vehicle, but...it is electric, and the possibility of breaking even could be a factor, since maintenance and gasoline won't be part of the cost. Thoughts?
MPG: Up to 21 city / 30 highway on my car, if that matters. Gas is $2.04 where I'm at (for premium, as it's a sports coupe).
