This shit is why being born rich doesn't matter unless you're in range where you can live off of your inheritance forever.

Also, new money kids don't care about opportunity or even getting the most (materially speaking) out of your money. They only care about buying status symbols and emulating brash rapper by buying shit brands like Zanotti, Hermes, Yeezy's, and popping large bottles of Dom Perignon, etc. I don't mean to be a snob but that breed of new money is disgusting and is the worst social class.

What's the best job board? By the way, don't use SimplyHired, they are SimplyGarbage. I have never received so much spam in my life than after using them. The "companies" posted on there are not vetted or something.

Hi all, I'm looking for some tips on getting referrals. I have a part time, online job that I have been doing for a couple years. It pays an okay hourly rate considering I can do it whenever I want and for however long I want. Anyway they have a referral program, and I'm sure there are lots of people out there who would be genuinely interested, but how do I connect with those people and share my ref link with them?
I have a few ideas:
-Post to Craigslist describing job/wage. Wait for email, and then email my ref link back. I would do it this way since directly posting the ref link wouldn't be allowed.
-Write a review/blog post about the job and include my ref link. Not really sure how I would get anyone to see this though.
-Contact people on forums. This would be fairly spammy, but I would just PM people info about the job and my ref link.
Do you guys have other ideas? Specifically, how would I go about connecting with the work at home crowd? Seems like there are a lot of work at home mom types on the internet, but I'm not sure how to find and connect with them. Would Pinterest be any good for this sort of thing? I honestly have no idea how it works.
And I obviously cannot post the link here, so if you want to learn what the actual job is, feel free to email me (see above).
"online jobs" lol stfu noob.
>>1165982
What? You don't believe remote work exists?
This job I'm talking about isn't full time, doesn't have benefits, and doesn't pay super well. However, it is almost 2x minimum wage where I live, and like I said I can do it whenever I want. I just do it to supplement my income.
But back to the point anyone have experience getting people to sign up for ref links of any type? If so how were you successful?
> Late 20s / Early 30s

Too old to be a /biz/nessman?
Is it too late to achieve massive success? Perhaps.
But then again - what is the alternative?
What else is there to do before striving for the top, day after day?
Just do it - whatever it is you are trying, OP - life is a constant struggle.

Yeah...
But unfortunately money rules the world and without it you can't do shit all.

W-What should I do /biz/? I seem to have unexpectedly stumbled upon the holy grail of investing.
Should I use it myself or should I go ahead and patent it?
Pretty sure if I write a book about it the trading system will not work anymore.

How many "investment" companies do you know?
They're everywhere, it seems to me that there is too much money and not enough profitable projects going around. Is my impression wrong?
I mean, look at all the VC firms on crunchbase, they're just the listed ones, there are thousands of others that no one heard about. Family funds etc.
I feel like the sweetspot right now is to be a kickass funder, who knows how to build a company from the ground up, and once a solid product/team is built, just go and get some investment money from all those firms.
Anyone is with me?
Same thing with this board: how many people are talking about trading stocks/speculating compared to the number of topics talking about how to BUILD something of value?
Too much speculation, not enough real work, if you ask me.
I noticed this as well OP, as a casual observation. There are ten trillion investment companies - and this is just the ones we haven't heard of.
Why is rent so astronomically high in the USA?
I cant afford to exist at my current pay, rent is 1k minimum anywhere where jobs are located.
Why are renters and landlords allowed? They just create inefficiency in the system. If I didn't have to commute an hour and a half to work each day to afford rent, I'd be able to create at least an extra hour of labor with a much shorter commute instead.
Work commutes seem to be created by the parasite landlord class.

Undocumented immigrants and Mainlanders.
The undocumented take up all the low rent apartments while the Mainlanders take everything else.

They invest your unsettled funds after a trade.
It's also pretty basic software.
> When is it coming to my country?
Probably never. They only have plans on an Australian beta ( https://robinhood.com/au/).
> It's been X days, why isn't my account isn't verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, try emailing their support. They are very good.
> Is this the right place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
No, please go to Stocktwits, Plebbit, or one of our many chat groups.
> What's a good penny stock to invest in?
Don't buy penny stocks you cum guzzling mouth breathing retard.
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want to go open a second account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using Yahoo/Google finance or even Stocktwits for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

Hi /biz/. I have a sucky portfolio with winners and losers. I'm slowly climbing back. When I reach a level of zero net gains, what should I do? Dump the losers and pump more into the winners?
