The same as the four hour workweek "movement" and anything that Tai Lopez is trying to push.

Read stuff that isn't a joke. Actually pick up a mathematics book and learn something you don't know. After a while you'll start seeing the connection between math and budgeting.

How do you wagecucks do it? Do you actually enjoy your lives? Meaningless work for idiotic corporations that will be flushed down the drain in a few years, quarterly reviews where your manager tells you there is no money for your 5% raise, a wife, brats and mortgage you can't walk away from? What the hell faggots?

How is being a NEET more meaningful, exactly?

People need money to live the lives they want, and most prefer the least amount of risk, so getting an hourly or salaried job is ideal for the majority of people.

You can only become an investment banker through having a PhD in Applied Physics with a thesis on String Theory in Banach Spaces from the University of Harvard, at least 5 years of experience as CEO of Shell, 5 years of experience in Special Forces, a father and grandfather who are both billionaires, and 3 space travels on your belt according to /biz/.

What does /biz/ think of franchises?

ausfag here, I have $150,000 ($112000 USD)
was thinking of starting up a franchise, most likely a Subway
I would like to be able to lie back and live on the profit,
and would prefer if I didn't really have to be involved with the business once its set up

questions

>is this a realistic dream? have heard you need several subways to make a decent living
(I own my house so expenses are significantly lower than most)

>is subway the best franchise I could get for my money?

>any other advice / info regarding franchises would be fabulous

Also ITT Franchise discussion

I don't know the numbers, but, I assume that Subway would be the best. Reason being that they can be alot smaller than a mcdonalds or a KFC, so rent would be cheaper. However, I've heard that they are the most popular chain now, so, u might have a bit more competition.
>>
>>1164470
I've heard that franchisees in place get to dole out the new location areas. Don't know how true that might be. Some nepotism issues I think. Do subway franchisees get rights of first refusal on growth?
>>
>>1164470
You're probably going to need more 112k. I think a McDonald's is like 300k so I imagine a Subway would be closer.

What % are you getting on those high yield savings accounts?

How are you not just slowly losing that money to inflation with the shit interest rates these days?

> Earning .9% on my savings, which does get eaten up by inflation. However, I'm now A) unemployed and B) accumulating cash to purchase rental property C) fairly convinced that we are at a market top right now and want to hold cash to invest once we reach bottom

If this wasn't the case, I would have much more invested.

Depends if it's a career or a job. If you're making less than $15 per hour then I wouldn't worry about it. The reason managers make more is because in these situations it's their responsibility to cover the shift if no one else can. If you can't do it I wouldn't worry about it. If it's a career through I'd do it. Helps you get raises in the future

FAQs
> How is it free?
They invest your unsettled funds after a trade.
It's also pretty basic software.

> When is it coming to my country?
Probably never. They only have plans on an Australian beta ( https://robinhood.com/au/).

> It's been X days, why isn't my account isn't verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, try emailing their support. They are very good.

> Is this the right place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
No, please go to Stocktwits, Plebbit, or one of our many chat groups.

> What's a good penny stock to invest in?
Don't buy penny stocks you cum guzzling mouth breathing retard.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want to go open a second account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using Yahoo/Google finance or even Stocktwits for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

I've never been out of work for more than 3 days since the age of 17.

When there is a long weekend, like this Easter one, I couldn't imagine a worse fate than being idle and out of work.

Holy shit, sitting at home doing nothing is just absolutely terrible.

I don't understand people like you.

Suck it up and try to find out why you're rejected. Depending on your field use your free time to study it or have your own projects where you use that knowledge.

Then try again.
