Seeking advice for a unexpectet Business situation.
My Person : im 20 years old, and live in germany. Im student an i study BA .
It happend yesterday. A hairdresser saloon is running and seeks a New owner. 2 employees. One is a normal hairdresser the Other one has a more advanced schooling an Can train New young hairdressers. The store is running. The skilled one Works about 30 hours a week the Other one 20.
Monthly cash now without any Other workers about 12 k.
Costs for rent,salary,and shampoo about 6 k .
Price 25k.
10 k instant,10 months 1 k and 10 months 500 this is how it can be financed.
The previous owners abadon the salon because 1 Wants to study again the Other one has family plans.
There were about 150 applicants.
It happens That a new friend of Mine, got the deal.
Her dream was to own a salon for a long time. The offer is perfect. And she will also work there and that will be another 8-9 k a month , according to the calculations of a finance adviser , who writes the books and is for 250 a month includet in the rent . The problem is they dont have the cash.here comes my part.
The deal is i get 10 grands untill 04.04. They will pay me back and already said that ill get another 5 k for sure. Then my Plan Is to convince Them to Give me a 25% ownership on the saloon.
What do you think?any advice ?
When you loan them money, be sure to get it registered, and have a written contract. Or guess what, they are not going to honor their promise and you won't even get your 10k back.

Why HR people love to boost about how busy they are and how they don't have time?
It been a month since my final interview with this company (did 3 interviews + test with them) so I contacted the HR rep and she told me they didn't made a decision yet and the usual bullshit "please understand we are very busy", "we will follow asap" blah blah.
Fuck I'm raging. I really want this job.
>>1163797
Apply more places
Get a as good job somewhere else.
If they ever contact you and want you, say they are late and you already have a job, but you are willing to work for them if you get a higher wage.

Get another job hunt going. What you are going through is 100% normal in corporate situations.
Typically your situation means one of these things is happening:
1. Whomever your boss at the new firm might be could have announced he/she is leaving. That fucks things up for you.
2. The firm you've interviewed might be getting sold to another company. All new hires must stop until matter resolved. (Happened to me with Chesapeake! LOL)
3. Another candidate they are interested in is slowing them down due to his/her own interviews/negotiations. You might be a bridesmaid.
So cheer up and move on. Believe me .....they don't expect you to be waiting around.
You're not their 1st choice for the job or they would have sent you an offer by now.
Have there ever been attempts by amateurs to establish small self-proclaimed republics with very favorable conditions for business and economic development?
Why doesn't a group of motivated amateurs sail to a remote island which already has a small educated population, and try to create a sort of industrial zone over there which would lead to lots of incoming firms and capital?
I bet at least some fishing companies and mineral extraction companies would love to invest if there was a zone like that.
Pro-tip: business people don't run States very effectively at all. It's an entirely different craft.
Basically China's economic zones.

Sup /biz/. Just changed my major to accounting
tell me what to expect

Depends.
CPA Route - 60k a year working 80 extremely high stressed hours a week in a cult like atmosphere where everyone is completely brainwashed in order to not kill themselves. My boss would usually have a mental breakdown where he would flip his shit at everyone, go in his office, smash a bunch of shit, load up on pills, and come out happy and high as a kite once a week. Also he had a heart attack in the three years I worked there. After three years of this you can leave and make about 100k but you will still be working 70/80 hour weeks on the reg and pretty stressed out with little time for vacation.
Non CPA - Working a stressful A/P A/R job at some deadbeat local company for 25k, as well as being someones personal secretary who will most likely be an asshole. (various friends experiences never lived this one)
Government is the only way to go and not die of misery if you go the accounting route.

>CPA Route - 60k a year working 80 extremely high stressed hours
What firm and what location are you talking about?
I'm at a mid size firm making about that much, but I go home at 6 usually, 7 if I need to finish something. I get to the office at 9 to 9:30-ish.

Not kidding. >>1162939 is spot on. Don't get into it just because of the money. Unless you actually like accounting or you have a natural talent towards it and you always score at least 20% above your peers without effort, don't get into accounting. It's a fucking meme.
Pick us from site called Predictit
It seems to me the odds are way off and Donald Trump is way more than 30% likely to be the next president of the United States.
We can debate about that if you want, but what thus thread is actually about us finding the best and safest website to make bets on.
Is there a site even more undervalued for Trump?
Also, Predictit has a 5% withdrawal fee, which has is a lot it seems.
Get this garbage outta here
Smart move OP, it's a sure thing. I'm putting a few k on a credit card to bet on the God-Emperor. If you've got good credit I suggest you do the same thing

I'm sick of this shit. I’m from Spain and it’s impossible to find a fucking job here (unemployment rate for young people is almost 50% kek).
I want to leave this fucking country asap. I would like to find a job abroad, and if it’s possible, related with my studies. I’m thinking of going for example to Ireland or UK (or USA why not?) and live in a hostel until I find a suitable job. I know this process can last from some weeks to several months but I don’t care as long as it helps me to put my shit together.
I would like to work in the hostel where I live in exchange for free accommodation until I find a job. Do you think it’s feasible or it’s retarded?
Please help me sharing similar experiences.
Do like the other Spaniards do and run a botnet.
Fuck this life man, honest work never gets fucking rewarded
>>1162645
Which botnet?
>>1162662
A money stealing one
Aren't a huge amount of security researchers and botnet herders from Spain?
Is Kickstarter a meme? I have a app idea that will cost 150k. Should I bother? Or go for a private investor?
>>1162325
150k? holy cow now that better be some rocket science.
seriously, if the idea is any good you should be able to find a technical co-founder.
>>1162325
For raising without a prototype I thought you're supposed to use indiegogo?
I can make apps. Wanna chat about it make?
How hard would it be to support yourself entirely with stock market trading? Assuming a NEET quality of life.
Do you have any source of regular income or a bit of money saved up?
I would not rely on trading but if you have enough neetbux or w/e to support your lifestyle, might as well set some aside and try to grow it.
Just don't tell anybody so the neetbux keep coming
>>1171582
I've been trading full time for just over 3 years now.
I do have other sources of income but I could depend entirely on trading.
Initially it sucked. Lost about 10k making stupid decisions and figuring out what not to do.
The downside ?
I dont know what Im going to make each week. Some weeks are good, others bad.
It can be fucking boring at times just watching and waiting.
Don't think you can just fire up some vidya during the boring moments. Do you have the discipline to treat it like a business ?
Be there an hour+ before open and sit there until close even if nothing is happening ?
It's not all just *click click profit*.
>>1171605
>It's not all just *click click profit*.
What are dividends?
I mean, I know it's not easy, but instead of having to buy/sell often, you'll just get money send to you. So holding is passively profitable.
Nobody is profiting high, even a 2% profit on safe investments is enough to rejoice, and 12% on high risk ones is a miracle.
All the OCDE countries are spending like there's no tomorrow in socialist shit like refugees and free shiet.
Small and medium sized businesses are falling everywhere due to tax increases, population decreases, high wage demands, regulations and debts.
America hasn't fully recovered from an almost 10 year old recession, Europe is still sunk in debts and stagnating, China got fucked and lost like 17% of their indexes just because, Russia is a hellhole, Brazil is a communist wasteland, the Southern Cone is stagnating because of socialism and tax raises, AU/NZ are doing meh, and Africa is still dependent on foreign aids of all kind.
Where the hell should anyone invest in this scenario? It's like being a millenial and not caring about the future is the only answer, only to complain and riot when everything falls apart.
>>1170554
"looking worse"? then where's the losses and people jumping off buildings and layoffs etc?
I'm waiting for the 5 year long dip but it never comes.
If you expect a crash soon, get your assets liquid af and get ready to snatch some shit(real estate/stocks) up.
I'm ready for global civil war and anarchy
Would you do unethical things to get rich?
>>1170388
I once had a very strong moral compass, and would have said no off the bat. Nowadays, I think that I would go rather far down that grayscale to just not worry about losing my house or electricity. Pic related.

Depends. When ends YOUR ethic limits?

At what age should aspiring /biz/nessmen move out by?
>>1167767
Im 23 and still live at home on my parent's property, but in a separate building with an apartment. I live there rent free, but pay my dues by helping maintain the property.
I have no intention to move out until I'm quite financially secure, aiming to buy a house by 30 and have a nice nest working. Live your life to what suits you OP.
>>1167782
Am I foolish for moving out at almost 21?
>>1167767
Until you get married. Don't fall for the, "I'll just waste all this money on rent so I can tell people I'm independent" meme.
