I loved my boss and the team I was on, but I didn't save a penny while I was there with all the bills I had to pay, I started the job with $5,300 in my bank account, I quit with $5,200 in it (I've been having a lot of car troubles lately)

I was there 8 months, I jumped to JPMorgan, and I've regretted every moment of it for the past 3 months. My salary has significantly increased, I got a signing bonus, I'm working less than I was at Citi, and I hate every moment of it. Like I said before, if you like your coworkers, stay, I'm sure you can get a good bump in salary if you move departments in a year. Just make sure you do the right amount of legwork and go to a department that pays well, is well managed, and has some prestige

I may go back myself if I can, they all loved me while I was there and were sad to see me go, but like I said, I followed the money and now I regret it

in my area rent is so high that I either pay someone elses mortgage and have nothing at the end of the day. condos/townhomes are in the 120k+ range. I might find a half way decent house for 150+ but I will need to put a lot of work into it. Some mobile homes are in the 100k+ range here... probably getting a condo
