First time on /biz/, and I want to ask you guys, how can I start a tobacco company of some sort? I've always been interested in business, but I've never decided to really pursue it before. Do you guys have any advice you can give me? And perhaps maybe just not a cigarette company, but perhaps I could create other products as well. I have lot's of interesting ideas, but I'm not sure to even where I should begin.
Can you guys help me out?
>Pic related; What the cigarette box would probably look like

Motto sounds gay desu
Well the first question is
Do you have a tax id number?
>>1283993
Agree. I've come up with brand names for a million dollar product and I would say a better one is "never take off your kneepads"
Is there a correlation between being /fit/ and making a lot of money? I'm very fat but do okay for myself, roughly 60k a year. However, my friends who are jacked seem to be doing much better financially than I am. Any related research?
>>1283929
>very fat
How fat are you OP? Are we talking walrus fat or orca fat?
>>1283937
somewhere in between. I guess more so like a walrus fat.
>>1283939
Like poundage. Above 250? And what's your height?
I'm twenty years old and just started my first business. I was nervous about how rough things might start out, but I've already got two clients and the potential for more afterwards. I'm sure there'll be problems to deal with and learn from down the road, but it feels so good to actually be taking the initiative and making progress.
>>1283904
What do you do?
>>1283908
Web development, SEO, and graphic design.
>>1284829
I feel like so many people do that. How do you differentiate yourself?
Hey guys, I'm a recent HS graduate and I'm looking to learn a computer related skill this summer. For someone who is did not perform well in math classes (and whose stronger suit is non-STEM), what skill could I learn to land me a job where I can save for my academic ambitions?
I really just want certifications, skills, or even a shorter degree that will give me a job so that I can work on my work ethic and my finances. I also want a skill that could get me money online, whether residually, by commission, or by flipping websites.
Thanks for the help

tl;dr: coursera.org is ok. I just contacted a tutor who gave a course I liked and asked for admission then I did self-study. For programming it works perfect.

This happens every time. Surely this didn't happen before. Why now?

It's partially the Boomer's fault for wrecking the economy.
It's partially Gen X's Fault for jobhopping so much nobody wants to invest in their employees.
It's partially the Millennials' fault for having a chip on our collective shoulder that turns employers off.
But mostly it's long range economic cycles.
>>1283729
It's so fucking easy to get a part-time shitty job at McDonalds or Walmart, you probably just look like a shitstick
Like seriously all you have to do is convince one interviewer you're not a thief and not a nigger who will show up late everyday smelling like weed, how fucking hard is it to present yourself to one fucking person?

> No experience
> No skills
> No charisma
> No connections
It's an employer's market, OP. If you have no connections, charisma, skills, or experience, you're fucked.
Or you just apply for a high turnover job, work there a while, and get a reference to move on.
But, of course, you're too beta to even get an entry-level fast food burger prodder job.
Only 38k new jobs added in May.
Would have only been 78k if Verizon workers weren't on strike.
What is going on?

Verizon workers are on strike

We're still waiting for 2008 Recession: Part Deux to hit.
None of the fundamental problems that caused the 08 recession were really fixed, they were (literally) papered over.
Most of the jobs lost were good paying and full time. Most jobs gained since are part time wage slave bullshit.
In propping up the flawed system, they've prolonged the malaise and may even make it a depression instead of the recession it could have been.
It's a good sign. It means more neet millionaires are being made.

I'm much richer than that (7 figures, not 6). I have nothing to prove to 4chan though. What's your point?
>>1282587
If you really are, you should bring back the old biz. Post proof, become a namefag with a trip, and become an orator of biz. We're missing out.
Most of us are young and in college, coming to this board for advice, not to show off.
Where do you work and is it more conservative or liberal leaning?
>>1282527
>is it more conservative or liberal leaning?
Neither. It's apolitical.
You'll quickly realize that real adults don't care about this bullshit, they're interested in MAKING MONEY and things that DIRECTLY impact their life.
Making more money, getting your dick wet. The two and only objectives of a /biz/nessman.
>>1282530
>concerned this much about sex
bruh, cmon, we're not 15 anymore.
Making money is a concern, and voting trump and not Shillary will net you more in saved taxes.
Think for 1 second before you shitpost faggot.
>>1282530
This. Except I would dispute that the majority of people on /biz/ care about actually making money more than trying to ride the next thing they think is "genius plan"

What are the real differences between the upper class and the upper middle class?
>>1281399
there is none, they are all going to be alone in the end - dead. Realize your life is just a play, don't take it too seriously. You are already showing signs of depression, low self esteem. Stop comparing, do what you like, give less fucks, it is about you, not others, be kind to others.
>>1281399
upper class over 1mil
upper middle class over 500k
Upper class:
Laws dont apply to you. You appoint judges and politicians and the government resolves around you. You have infinite money. People who oppose you get disposed of.
https://youtu.be/njLqy6KK03Q
Aka royalty and dictators.
Pleb class:
Elected leaders, captains of industry.
Ultra pleb class.
Judges, doctors, professors.
"""""""middle""""" class:
Us.
Looks like we were right all along lads
