Hey guys, I'm a recent HS graduate and I'm looking to learn a computer related skill this summer. For someone who is did not perform well in math classes (and whose stronger suit is non-STEM), what skill could I learn to land me a job where I can save for my academic ambitions?
I really just want certifications, skills, or even a shorter degree that will give me a job so that I can work on my work ethic and my finances. I also want a skill that could get me money online, whether residually, by commission, or by flipping websites.
Thanks for the help

tl;dr: coursera.org is ok. I just contacted a tutor who gave a course I liked and asked for admission then I did self-study. For programming it works perfect.

Has good programming courses of varying levels

Isn't web design oversaturated?

Learn some web design.
go for your CompTia A+ cert if you want to do IT work, and your Cisco ( Ccent or CCNA ) if you want to be a network technician (which is decent money anymore).
Even if you don't have your A+ you can still do some small time IT work for some companies (help desks are typically Highschool Degree holding jobs) or even do small time repair for individuals.

You would be surprised. Not a lot of Web Designers appropriately market their skills. I'm currently 2 months into starting my freelance career and already have well over six clients at around 300$ per project. All because I marketed my skills appropriately at my job as a barista to all of the pretentious local /biz/nez men in town while I made their Latte enemas.

Do I only use html for web design?
While learning this, should I make a freelance web design site to generate revenue?
What is ComptiaA+?
