gold and silver is really only for speculative gains in a crisis. likely because of it's perception as a store of value.
investing in non-productive assets is a zero sum game, if you're really interesting in trading the stuff there are some forex brokers who will let you leverage and trade with oil and bullion ETFs(i believe).
if you're really serious about speculating on the stuff, you'll want to keep your spreads to a minimum, there are also independant brokers and mints that will let you buy, sell unallocated bullion and ETFs.
i personally would just stick to stocks and bonds (if you're worried about diversification). but whatever floats your boat man.

That said, I invested in some 2ozt "Privateer Series" coins that I plan to unload at a high premium in 2-4 years at the next "Pirate Day" here in town.

Okay guys listen here. I'm 18 and it's summer time so I have LITERALLY NOTHING to do and I want to earn some cash.
I can't get a job because I'm flying away in a couple days for a month "hey give me a job okay bye gotta get a month's vacation soon" yeah not happening.
What are some good ways to earn some FAST cash? Something along the lines of uber where you do it on your own time and you don't actually have to have much skill. I've looked at some apps but all the things I've looked at either don't pay you enough for your time and gas or pay you in gift cards.
Tl;dr What are some things I can do to earn me some quick bucks that isn't like babysitting or mowing lawns and shit?

I had a good time working in a kitchen when I was 18 and first graduated. You don't make too much money but the guys were all chill stoner and the bartenders/waitresses are all pretty attractive 18-24 year olds.

how do i go about finding out approximately how large of a car loan i will get if i have my credit score (710), current credit to credit limit ratio (75%), and in bank account ($1700 in bank + $1k cash)? i currently have a summer job where i get biweekly paychecks of 1800$ (pre taxes), and a bartending job where i make about $8k a year (reported, additional $25k cash).
