Will we make it out unscathed? Is their a way for us to bail out of this situation?
bumbedy
the problem with canada is that so many people want to move here that housing is going nuts
don't expect the market to completely crash, just slow down or be stagnant for a bit
>>1351073
Could you explain how or why? I mean if that's the case why would Marc Cohode want to short HGC?
What is the most sound way to reach $10K in one month. I currently make $3K a month and have $1K I can play with. What could I do to make this goal?
buy as many scratch off tickets as you can afford. statistically, you would be very likely to win!

wouldn't*
By saving more money from your current paycheck.
Is right to work a bad thing or a good thing? I honestly don't know.
>>1350874
I like it because I think the alternative become extremely bloated. Like in fucking WA, state workers that operate primarily as DRIVERS have a unioned bargained 3 strike rule relative to.......
>DUI's
Man fuck that shit, and that's just one example of how bloated that shit gets.
>>1350874
unions are generally a good thing for you of you have no capital and thus have to resort to earning a living through labour
>>1350874
>"right to work"
>stamps out unions
how do they rationalize that naming?
how do you get through /tedious tasks/?
>>1350786
put on a podcast, sip a little cognac. get it done.

I really really really like this picture. Mind if I save it?
if it's on a computer you can learn a bit of code to automate
Hey, /biz/. I'm moving to a medium-sized college town in the fall and considering getting a foreclosure property to rent out. My net worth is about a quarter million, so if I get a 3 bedroom for 30k it wouldn't be too much of myt portfolio.
Anyone have experience with this? Any good books on the topic to read?

On the outskirts of pittsburgh, it's not unusual to find foreclosures around that price
>gets 6 million
>retires for 5 years and lives like a hedonist
Did he realize hedonism is a dead end? what do you think made him come out of retirement?
>>1350757
Do you mean 6 billion?
>>1350773
no. he sold his frist company for 6 million and retired. came out and started his broadcast company
>>1350825
Oh. But he's a billionaire now isn't he
Is starting a YouTube channel a worthwhile investment?
I stopped giving a shit about Youtube a few years ago when I graduated highschool and stopped playing video games. But apparently the kids making videos now are making millions of dollars a year for just whining about things on top of some gameplay footage
Have these people just won the internet lottery or is there more to it?
The ones I follow certainly aren't making millions of dollars a year: Sargon, Milo etc.
becoming successful on youtube is about as likely as you becoming a well-paid hollywood celebrity
similarly to becoming a successful creative person, you can't think about the success, you have do it because it's your passion
I have hearing some mid tier (500k subs) youtubers saying that the money is in sponsorships now. Subs and views don't pay like they used to a few years ago.
I'm aware that the price of copper's gone down quite a bit in the last 5 years, but pre-1982 pennies (which are 95% copper) are still worth twice as much if melted. I'm also aware that destroying currency is illegal, but that doesn't stop me from selling to someone who is willing to do it. I'm thinking, the combination of continuous currency inflation and the limited supply of copper must mean that converting all my cash into rolls of old pennies would be a wise savings strategy. Right?
coinfag here, the scrap price of copper is less than the face value of the money. if you melted all your pennies into a bar and tried to sell it to a recycling plant you would not make a profit and I doubt this will change in the future.

Fact: Copper, tin & aluminum will be more valuable than gold in silver sooner or later

>don't buy a yacht unless you can afford 5 yachts
>don't buy a 100k watch unless you have a net worth of 100MM
>don't buy a 300k car unless you make 3 million a year
>don't buy a house that is more than 2 times your salary
Are people just retarded or do all these "rules" make no fucking sense? I bought a 350k car and "only" make 600k a year. I live comfortably and bought what I wanted. Who comes up with this shit is it just jealousy talking? I'm probably going to buy a 80k Patek in the next month and people are giving me shit for it too.

First one : True
Second one : False - 20m
Third: False are you retarded? 1.5 m/y
Fourth: True
>>1350490
Yes goy, those rules are retarded. The only way to get rich, is by spending more than you earn on superfluous luxury goods. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
>>1350499
fuck off there is a point where once you have the money to last you a life time you can spend it on shit.
Alright /biz/ how would you go about maximizing profits on a mobile game? Anyone on here making decent cash with their mobile app/game?
Also, what are some ways I can promote an app for free/cheap?
pic semi-related
Way too over saturated market
make a good game which doesn't annoy anyone with its pricing so it becomes famous
make a better sequel
well for example you could add a shop in your game were you could buy things e.g. different characters, weapons or shitee could be anything, think temple run you can buy coins to get stuff from store. You could then have advertisements , list it for free. It needs to be simple and addictive!
What do I do with $5000?
It's just extra money sitting in a savings account with shit tier interest, losing value with inflation.
>>1350436
let it stay
use it as emergency money
Hop on the shitcoin train
>>1350436
1y gov bonds.
compounding interest is not so bad on them.
pretty liquid too.

Why does it take so long to buy BTC? Is selling it just as long? The lack of instant trades makes me stressed

Are the endless lists of "required" and "suggested" qualifications of candidates for even the most basic of positions an HR wishlist or real requirements for jobs?
Are there actually people who have 6+ years experience in specific fields, Six Sigma certifications, degrees, and whatever else who are actually applying for $40,000 per year?
Should you simply apply for anything that seems interesting and let them make the decision?
>>1350250
Yes
>>1350250
Depends
No, who would apply for a 40k job with 6 years of xp the fuck?
