How have you done so cheaply?
Were you able to get grants?
What variance was there from the prototype to the product?
How did you use it to get more funding?

Fuck "self-help books" (they only help the author), "how to get rich" books, what are some basic reading materials to get a grasp on economics? Something that just explains each concept and the different economic laws that exist.
Preferably something mainstream enough that it should be relatively easy to find online and download.

What?

Look up any respective universities and their economics degree. Go on the course description and find the main readings. There are usually a book or two there for the introductory micro and macro courses. Buy the books or find them online in an .pdf format.

Still long.
Still holding.
Up or down.
Down or up.
What's it like? I'm thinking of becoming a phone operator from home. How is it? How easy is it to get such a job? Are there better work from home jobs available to a NEET?
I operate my business from home, my friend telecommutes. Biggest problems we see is staying focused. You have to perform and you are the only person who can make yourself do that. If you can keep to a schedule and not get distracted, you are golden. If you can't, it's not gonna be great.
Nah it's worse than working in an office, believe it or not.
t. someone who has done both
Any unskilled work you can do from home, Pajeet can do for less. So there's really no legitimate unskilled at home jobs.
I'm thinking of buying some dividends in the banking sector and i'm wondering how much of a smart investment that is.
Secondly, Do they work the way that i think they do. As in paying out every month?
>>1346019
The other option is just invest in something more practical such as things that you always need.
Like batteries, Solar Panels and Ball Bearings.
Because i'm unsure what will happen if the banking collapses.
Do HSBC if you have balls. Dividend is high and they pay every quarter (3months). Most don't pay every month. REIT's are more likely to.
>>1346030
Alright. What about things with low risk such as Solar Panels and shit like that?
>in person interview for Deutsch Bank
>start asking my finance related questions
>ask me what are the greatest concerns for the financial markets at the moment
>mention brexit and accidently use the phrase "eternal anglo" twice
>sperge out about cryptocoins for a bit
>tfw
so did you get the job?
>>1346006
They told me they would be in touch
Okay OP...That's odd.
Here is mine:
>staff accountant interview
>new dress shirt and pants
>look like I belong in the office
>small place, but interview with three people
>two bosses and a tax guy
>realize the one boss doesn't really know taxes
>he used to work at one of the big 4
>allofmywat
>anyone says the job pays in the 40k range
>whatever that means
>says it is me vs one other guy
>I have half my cpa done, while he has it all
>I have more tax experience
>no call back
>tfw
Whats the difference between investing and trading?
>>1345956
Trading you're in and out, investing is long term
Use google you tard
>>1345956
Investing is when your profit from dividends and share value and you try to calculate if the stock is devalued or overvalued.
Trading is when you watch the news and trade based on how the market is doing instead of how the company itself is doing.
Traders look at options/forex
Both are when you buy trumpcoin > profit
you have 40k riding in UWTI overnight
who else is making mad cash in the post-brexit volatility, or are the rest of you NEETs just working on your next prestige in COD 345?
Is it possible for an autist to move up the corporate ladder?
If you can afford the whole ladder, buy it.
Watch Silicon Valley.
Only if you can act normal and professional when it matters, and vent out your autism by being a serial killer in your spare time.
I heard people can make money just by making designs on websites that make custom shirts and stuff, like cafepress. Anyone have any info on how easy this is and how much money can be made?
thats a meme, nobody's making bank on that shit
>>1345983
I wouldn't expect bank. But some small amount of passive income to combine with my regular job income would be nice.
You can do it if you already have a brand/following, like a webcomic or youtube channel or something. I'd imagine it's very hard to make anything significant otherwise.
Thought my current lease was up this month and I had to move out: actually ends next month. The "last month" rent was paid when I moved in 3 years ago. The bad news is that I already gave the new place I'm moving into a deposit of half of first month's rent (a check that hasn't been cashed yet), the lady I'm renting from for the new place doesn't really want to let me only move in for part of the month and prorate, she wants the full month. Haven't signed anything yet.
Obviously seems wasteful to have two apartments at once but the new place is pretty cheap for my area (market has gotten SHITTY past few years), and it's month-to-month. Should I just eat the cost or bail and find a different place?
Pros:
+ could save costs on a moving truck because I could move in gradually over the course of the month
+ less stress
Cons:
- out a couple hundred bucks
Figured you guys give better financial advice than /adv/ would

Tell her to go fuck herself.
A shitty landlord will cost you more money in the long run.
>>1345823
So their inability to be flexible with prorating indicates they will be shitty?
>>1346351
No she isn't the one being shitty you are if you ask her for this favour. You fucked up and now you want to waste her time with the promise of living there when you don't want to yet. She could have gone out and had someone else fill the vacancy. It costs money when no one is there. Your asking her to lose money because you made a mistake.

Bitcoins are pretty low right now, $628.50, and I wouldn't trust stocks until the next recession, especially if you're asking for advice here
