I'm new to investing. I just bought 25 shares of mgt last night for my first trade. Glad I didn't lose money. Should I sell the first time it drops by 25 cents? As for using it on a resume, it's a non-credit course and will say so on your diploma so I wouldn't bother. Use it to gain skills, not pieces of paper with your name on it.

Hey /biz/,
I don't usually go on here, usually spend time on r9k, but I had a few ideas for odd jobs to make a little extra monies. I can't get hired anywhere and ive been lounging around the house too longas a neet so my parents are pissed. So far I have a couple ideas

basically buy flowers and sell them on the side of the road or in parks to couples. I figure I can flip them for a good amount more than I bought them for how novel and in the moment it is.

I've just finished getting paid back on a 10,000 dollar loan to a friend, charged him 15% interest over the year. He avoided ultra-high interest credit card debt, and I got a great annual return on an investment (it wasn't a huge part of my portfolio).
