Believe it or not, people are incredibly vain. Especially people who bother to take care of themselves. Your line of work is one where appearances will get some clients to return. Obviously your actual skill is the most important thing, but there is no reason to not maximize what is clearly an important aspect. I'm also assuming you know what you're doing, so I wasn't going to mention that.

I use my massage therapist because she's good at what she does, doesn't screw me out of my time, works on what I want her to, and isn't unattractive. I have referenced her to other people I know that have a lot of physical activity in their life.

Pretty easy depending where you look. A+ will get you a leg up with getting an entry level job. If you wanted you could check your local area and see what local IT businesses there are. That's how I got my start. Learned a lot then moved on to a better job in networking after a year and a half.

Yeah I think you're in a great area especially with everything being right there. My first job was at a local IT place in Socal. It was your typical blank-Tech Solutions sort of place. I started off doing computer repair so just replacing parts and diagnosing issues on computers customers would bring in. Then I started doing on-sites for businesses, mainly working on their networking equipment and servers. But it was a good experience to learn and I had zero experience so I pretty much learned by doing. But I went to a cc and took some networking classes. Computer repair is a good place to start but after awhile I'd think about a speciality. I found out I like servers more than networking so I'm trying to go into that direction
