How can you make some decent money as a journalist /biz/? I'm working part-time as a journalist, next to my political science studies at uni. Do I need a journalism master's?
For the record: I report about geopolitics, I don't write tabloid-tier stuff.

I think you might wanna start a blog as soon as possible. Just to put yourself and your reporting out there.
The usual answer is to write a book and hope it sells well.
Or be a foreign correspondent in a dangerous area, where you get hazard pay.

Look for jobs in consultancies. Risk Actuary firms. M&A Advisors. Advising companies seeking new markets. Just general corporate intelligence.

More than that: Start a LinkedIn account where you write about the economic effect of geopolitical situations on the industry of your choosing. Make sure you research the industrial party, remember you want to show what value you can offer
