Should I take more money or should I be loyal?
I currently work as a BI analyst in the Midwest making $47500/year. I like my job, but two weeks ago a recruiter reached out to me about a job opportunity. I was blowing this guy off until he asked how much I wanted to make and I said 65k thinking he would leave me alone. He said he could do that so I ended up going through the interview process semi-seriously and thought nothing of it. Flash forward to today as I am sitting in my car with the job offer for 65k with a 7k bonus. Should I take this job /biz/? I just got promoted at my last place and I don't want to hurt anyone's feeling's. They are my first job outside of college and I have friends here. Please let me know what you would do. As an individual with nothing but your perversions and design skills, I would say that barrier to entry is insurmountable. You need a manufacturer, a big investment for testing/production. Marketing is going to be a nightmare because there are so many competitors. Google ads is probably not even profitable.
Try and contact people that produce toys maybe, set yourself as a freelancer and take profit on commission. That's the only possible option I see

Ok. Start looking for other jobs now. I don't know what industry you're in, but look at local meetup groups and start networking with the people there. These meetups often have a job posting boards with tons of other job opportunities. Your path to a valuable job is making friends who can get you in, and you dont even need to be super talented.
Alternatively, say you do web development, make some business cards (spend only around $10), and start just going to local events and build your own business. If you don't know how to do something, just outsource it to people on fiverr.
