Well /biz/? Was it just an elaborate ruse to boost the price of bitcoin?

obviously
> pic unrelated to reality
Can you newfags stop posting this over and over again?
Clearly it was the ransomware attacks in 2013 that caused BTC to rise as well.
i dont get it
these ransomware happened all the time from the 90's to today
why is it such a big deal just because they want payment in form of bitcoin now?
nigguh, bitcoin is easier to track than fiat, guess normies cant figure blockchains out
>majored in polisci
>applied to a few "real" jobs
>realized its not worth it
>settled for 16/hr wagecuckery in retail
>want to get a "real job"
>mulling programming bootcamp
is it worth it guys? are there any 2 year programs with good job security that i can do? I just want a respectable job where i can feel dignified and make 40kish
>>2069854
Do a masters in something useful.
>>2069861
thats more debt for a dubious outcome. if i did a masters in something useful i don't have the foundation (CS, accounting, etc)
>>2069870
Yes you do. Poli sci folks who go to grad school and bust their asses focusing on econometrics & statistics can wind up with great jobs as policy analysts.
Which crypto exchanges do you use /biz/? I'm sick of being a nocoiner.
I'd prefer something without one week wait times like (((coinbase))).
>>2069822
coinbase
Also a nocoiner with a question. Why do exchanges require ID to convert USD into crypto? I can order pizza online or buy something from Amazon with just a credit card and no ID. Is there any reliable place to buy crypto online without ID? I don't want them to have my fucking passport photo, you just know they're gonna get hacked at some point.

Shoo shoo slimy shill.
Anyone have any real recommendations?
As a leaf, what are some of my options for buying and trading stock? Any recommended services I can look into first?
I have a portfolio planned out that I want to hold as my retirement as well as some short term (~5 year) holds that I hope to pull out for a degree.
I'm new to investing my money outside a bank, and am just looking to make a nice spread across stock, crypto, and (small) forex while I continue to learn what's what.
I'm going to be buying crypto on kraken, but other than that I don't know what services to look into for stock and/or forex so any suggestions would be appreciated, cheers.
>>2069774
The day of the rake is coming.
there's little difference between the big 5 banks for trading, if you're already with one then just open your account through them
>stock
This board is about memecoins now.
27.27? that's hendrix! that's cobain!
>b-but muh segwit!
>>2069770
Last time I've lost money with this shitcoin.
Fucking XRP is climbing AGAINST BTC, while I bleed value.. Fuck this.
I expected it to drop, but this is a lot further than I thought. Definitely had people warning of this all over biz for the couple weeks leading up to segwit. It was indeed already baked in the price.
OK, which one of you guys was behind this?
We all know that BTC is moonbound, but fucking really?
Ransomware that requests BTC as the ransom have been in circulation for many years now, newfag.

>trying to sleep
>suddenly remember my shitcoin could be mooning
>check the price, nothing changed
>go back to sleep
>have a bad dream thinking i missed the moon mission
>wake up hot and sweaty
>check the price, nothing changed
This happens like 4 times a night, anyone feel the same?
Yes, that's why I stopped holding shitcoins. I close my positions before I go to sleep. The only things I hold are long term coins like xrp.
the crypto markets never sleep, neither do I
>>2069653
>this
>but I never sleep that well anyway
Such is life, try getting some exercise and regular sunlight. Helps focuses the mind and make it easier to get by day to day.
So what was your final score on Lepen coin? I turned 2 BTC into 4.5 personally. Anyone else win big or lose big?

Is nepotism good or bad?
If it works in your favour it's good.
If it doesn't work in your favour bad.
If you're self made, you probably hate it.
Many successful folks prefer to let their children struggle as they did, for whatever reason, and "earn it" themselves.
All depends, really.
>>2069630
Good or bad for whom? And why?
If we are talking about the good of the company, a CFO who gets his son a job as a financial adviser probably didn't make the right choice, initially. But his son will eventually learn to do the job competently or, at least, be indistinguishable from the other financial advisers who weren't hired by familial means.
If we are talking about the good of his son, then getting him a job will likely be at least somewhat good, if not great, for him. There's this meme that adversity builds character while, inversely, having a life on easy street does not. I think it's true in some cases, but adversity can just as easily break someone than build someone up. And someone who lives life on easy street can have just as much character, work ethic, etc. as someone who lived a rags to riches kind of life.
So I stopped playing video games and I have this rig going to waste now. How would I go about mining digibytes? Is it a complex process? Would it even be worth it?
Kys fagget
>>2069742
that doesn't sound like a realistic business strategy
>>2069610
Mine and hold Myriad instead.
