Been in crypto trade since 2013, believe, i've seen so many shitcoins I can't even remember all the stupid names.

Thing, is, if you want to be successful, you gotta spot the next big thing.

When bitcoin reached early 2014 peak, a guy named Vitalik Butterin was butthurt he could be in the early investors and invented ETH. With the smart contract buzzword, he managed to create a nice alternative to bitcoin. ETH went from 1$ to 300 $.

FFD to 2017, BTC is struggling with scalability, ETH faces the same. Both coins are in a stalemate, and both market are so active that making a change is like changing a reactor on 747 in flight.

If you want to spot the next big thing you gotta check which coin is tackling exactly the scale problem.

This coin is EOS today, It's valued around 1,3$ right now, I don't see it going above 2$ in the coming weeks, but 2$ would already be a nice profit. Thing is, whatever the tendency, this one is here to stay.

Do you reaserch, see what is the business plan, see who is behind it (hint, no chinks, no jews and no pajeets) and you'll thank me later

It's dirt cheap and traded in kraken, so I bought a few, for a long hold. I couldn't care less about their asynchronous and distributed smart whatever.
>>

Yes, exaclty. Those guy are smart. They are see that the Big $$ will not be invested in BTC nor ETH because of the nerd political agenda. They focus on something that works, even if it's not denectralised enough, smart conrtact enough, censorship resistant enough, and all the BS scams you see everywhere.

In my opinion, EOS is the good compromise.

I bought 2500 EOS right now.

So why is insider trading actually illegal? When you're young, you get told it's "unfair", but that's not an explanation. It doesn't really explain who get's hurt by it. What would the consequences be if we just legalized insider trading?
49 posts and 4 images submitted.
>>
It's cronyism and it would only serve to further line the pockets of the elites. It's anti-capitalistic because the market would be biased to those with many connections in the corporate world.

Its already bad enough, legalizing insider trading would mean only insiders would make any money on the stock market.
>>
>>2685185
The market already is biased towards those with social connections

They're public companies, they have to tell everyone, if they want to insider trade they can be private companies.

Should I invest in Elastic? If so, why? Can anyone else recommend some coins that will go up in the next 24 hours?

It's undervalued at the moment imo. I don't know if it will go up in the next 24 hours but it should be a good mid term bet.

Sell at the ATH or you'll become a bagholser.
LTC isn't going to skyrocket since august 1 will make it pratically useless.I'll advise you to sell before then.

Just dropped 1 BTC on this https://www.elastic.pw/

>Supply is similar to projects such as Iconimi, FirstBlood and Pivx who are all in the $1-$4 range.
>Just got listed on an exchange for the first time and price seems to be being suppressed by whales to allow for accumulation.

What do you think lads? Seems grossly undervalued atm when compared to projects around it on coinmarketcap.com.

My thoughts on ANS

its going to continue this downward trend until it's about where it was last week at ~$4.30 then shoot back up to the moon possibly $20 or more

yeaaaaaaa it aint going that low. Sell your stash if you're that confident. Weekends always have steep downward trends. I predict this will go above 350 by Tuesday.
>>
>>2684997
I'm buying it today at 280. It won't go below 250 for sure.

So I just opened an account with vanguard and have 10k that's about to be transfered into it.

I'm a 21 year old kissless virgin that makes $16.95 an hour and sitll lives with my pArenTs. I've also never done any investing before.
I plan on putting it all into their cute little VFINX fund so I can get the super fancy 0.04% rate. Please tell me any serious information I'm not aware of right now. On a scale from 1 to 10, how stupid am I for doing this? I have a retirement fund but it's not anywhere close to the size I plan on putting into this fund thing I've been wanting to do since getting out of highschool .

is it too late to trade crypto as a career and make a living off of it ? how long do we have?

it's still far from too late, but I suggest you invest big while you still have the chance

>is it too late to trade crypto as a career and make a living off of it ?

It was possible in 2013, it will be possible in 2023 - it is just not as easy as 99% of the people here will tell you.

You have to:
- learn theory (not only technical analysis, but also basic stuff like research on the tech itself, differentiation between shill/fud & truth etc.)
- socialize with other traders
- have the wisdom to decide whent to have iron hands and when to fold
- beeng able to see if there is a pattern in the behavior of the price
- practice it quite some time with pocket money
and many other things about it.

Some days ago, we had a guy who seems to do this for a living posting some guidelines:

>>2603626

Trading went from "ffswhyiamlosingmoney" to "I am comfy" by following his advises. Can recommend it.

I currently work as an hourly supervisor at a fast food restaurant (6 months now), I have 7 years of experience as a food server as well, is there anyway I can spin this into an actual career or am I doomed to continue up the depressing ladder of fast food management?

You must be retarded.
Right now the sells are going for 0.00006 BTC, and the buy orders go for 0.00002 BTC
if someone sells to a buyer, it instantly dips 60%
but there are far more buyers than sellers, so it's just going up

it was at $0.03 yesterday.
but this is going to be at least $0.1

Can we losers have our own thread where we can post our losses ?

Started off with cryptos last month, invested about 300 dollars in DGB, Stratis, Litecoin and Bitcoin, so far I've lost about 20 dollars.

How about you ?
39 posts and 8 images submitted.
>>
The only loss I got was about 80 dollars when I sold some shitcoin on an exchange without any buyers for a normal price. I didn't run the numbers before pressing sell so I got a small amount of money for my coins.

For the rest I've had ridiculous amounts of profit.
>>
Bought SIA at 700 for $200, lost about $80 so far. Should've sold it when it was announced that obelisk is just a fucking asic. Holding my bags proudly though, cause sia at least have some tech behind.

Also bought DGB (before SIA) at 1200 two times, sold for 1300 at first and at 1100 at the second, so I'm happy I broke it even.

I'm lurking crypto since a long time now but I was always kind of lazy about it.
I decided to try by FOMO one week ago so I invested 290 euros to test the water one week ago in the middle of the bull, already lost 70 euros and expecting to lose much more in the coming weeks.

Still, won't give up, I'm learning a bit everyday, I will move 400 euros on my account in the coming months, probably on ETH (60%) and BTC (40% because I don't know how the whole Segwit thing will turn). and then hodl.
