"Pump and dump" cryptocurrency schemes are illegal, and enforced by the SEC. If prosecuted, this can lead to jail time and fines.

DaggerHashimoto is Ethereum's proof-of-work mining algorithm, also known as Ethash

It's designed to be ASIC resistant, meaning it can't be easily centralized like Bitcoin is. Anyone with a GPU gets a fair chance at mining.
Now there already are many ASIC-resistant PoW algorithms like CryptoNight, but most of them don't have a significant GPU advantage. CryptoNight is still profitable on CPUs which is why Monero is often mined by botnets. Botnet mining is unfair to legit users.
Most other coins that are ASIC resistant try to innovate with many additional features, like Decred and its governance functions.
I want a very simple coin like Bitcoin or Litecoin, but with a PoW algorithm that is fair for normal users and their GPUs.
Not sure if anyone else would want that, though.
I'm capable of implementing it, no problem, just transplant DaggerHashimoto from ethereum-cpp to Litecoin.
