Can we losers have our own thread where we can post our losses ?

Started off with cryptos last month, invested about 300 dollars in DGB, Stratis, Litecoin and Bitcoin, so far I've lost about 20 dollars.

How about you ?
>>
The only loss I got was about 80 dollars when I sold some shitcoin on an exchange without any buyers for a normal price. I didn't run the numbers before pressing sell so I got a small amount of money for my coins.

For the rest I've had ridiculous amounts of profit.
>>
Bought SIA at 700 for $200, lost about $80 so far. Should've sold it when it was announced that obelisk is just a fucking asic. Holding my bags proudly though, cause sia at least have some tech behind.

Also bought DGB (before SIA) at 1200 two times, sold for 1300 at first and at 1100 at the second, so I'm happy I broke it even.

I'm lurking crypto since a long time now but I was always kind of lazy about it.
I decided to try by FOMO one week ago so I invested 290 euros to test the water one week ago in the middle of the bull, already lost 70 euros and expecting to lose much more in the coming weeks.

Still, won't give up, I'm learning a bit everyday, I will move 400 euros on my account in the coming months, probably on ETH (60%) and BTC (40% because I don't know how the whole Segwit thing will turn). and then hodl.
>>
>>2684796
Started off with 125$, turned them into 500$ from 4x with dgb, then I could have had 900$ if I sold xvg at 240 sats, but I didn't so I was stuck at 500$.
Then i bought 2 shitcoins ATH and now I'm back at 160$.
>>
>>2685362
what site is that?
I like the overview.

So do you just buy things without thinking for yourself or researching them? Watched a whole video of a guy talking about the "impacts" of RDD being implemented into social media platforms as if it isn't just a way for normies to tip each other on leddit. Crypto is retarded and flush with dipshits trying to get in on the next gold rush or .com boom or whatever this bullshit is.
>>
Started a few weeks ago. Spent about $4,000 aud on btc, eth and ltc. Join some p&d group on discord promising insane gains. (RBY never forget) take what little coin I have left and move it to polo and start lending for safe small gains. Almost broke even... then the market crashed and I'm still about $500 aud away from even...
>>
Went into ANS thinking it was on the way to the moon, then it dipped badly and still is, currently -$100.
>>
>>2684796
All of my losses have been made back on Chan coin, and I only put in a few k satoshi.

Started with about $50.

I thought this shit was supposed to be easy money!
>>
Lost on RDD, DGB, BAT, ANS. XMR too but got impatient there, opportunity cost at stake. Still up overall by 33% though.
>>
>>2687450

Isn't it stupid to invest such small sums since you've to pay commission fees for eachone of your positions?
>>
>>2687564
Yeah but the commission fees are less for smaller amounts.

I'm just trying to get my feet wet right now. You learn more from experience than just lurking these boards.
>>
>>2687450
Dude come the fuck on... I also wanted to play with crypto and not take it seriously but even then I put at the very minimum 120$.
>>
>>2687627
buy and hold is the only true method
>>
>>2686214
This. Now I have to settle for Honda Civic.
>>
>>2687634
I know. I'm gonna invest some more when I get paid this week,
>>
I bought KIDS, B2, MYST, WAVES... it seems like every fucking coin I buy immediately drops
>>
are there any crypto losers here who didn't invest in shitcoins?
top 5 and below coins
I bet there aren't
>>
>>2687648
I'm a leaf anon too by the way, do you use coinbase or kraken?

Kraken has the best prices but it's taking an eternity to get verified to tier 3 to deposit CAD. Other websites like Quadrigacx are plain shit.
>>
>>2687674
I've been using Coinbase but thinking of switching to kraken. I was really pissed when I found out that coinbase doesn't let canadians withdraw their money.
>>
>>2685362
>eth

u still have a lot to learn
>>
>>2687704
>doesn't let Canadians withdraw money
Wait uwot
I'm mining on nicehash and getting paid in bitcoin to my Coinbase wallet
Why not, what are our options then

That's exactly why I decided to make a Kraken account, well for the low fees too.

What sucks is how demanding Kraken. They want to know EVERYTHING about me. My drivers license, utility bills, etc. It sucks because if we were using USD, we would only need to get verified to tier 2 which isn't too bad. But since we use CAD, they want tier 3 verification which is the ID and bills.

>>2687730
Kraken is your best choice. There are other options liek Quadrigacx or even Bitcoin ATMs but they cost way too much and take too much of your profits, while Kraken is decent.

Choose one, privacy or profits.
>>
>>2684796
I have not lost anything because I am holding btc and a little eth and ltc. You should not think about the fluctuation in terms of profit and loss until you sell at a loss.
>>
>>2684796
I fell for a coin without doing research, just a vague promise from a dev about increasing the direct price of the coin. I recognized it for a dump and pump, I just had no way to predict that the peak would occur 5 minutes after I bought. Lost $250 but learned a valuable lesson. It was house money that I earned through getting lucky with 4CHN so not too depressed about it.
>>
>>2687747
Can I transfer my funds from Coinbase wallet to kraken? I never bothered looking into that website or how it works. Do I need a separate wallet or does kraken provide one too?
I'd check now but I'm at work, sorry for the questions maplebro

It's cool man. If you sign up now you can't do anything, not even deposit X coin. You'll have to get verified to tier 1 to be able to deposit some coins and that's it.

I suggest you try to get verified to tier 3 right now. Kraken is THE best option you have, it is safe and secure, plus you're sorta insured (they'll pay you back for fuckups). What's annoying is the long verification process, it's been weeks and I'm only tier 2, waiting for tier 3.

You should try to sign up for tier 3 verification as soon as possible, so that by the time you're ready to cash out, you'll be able to do it with very small fees.

Kraken provides you a wallet, don't worry.
>>
>>2687808
I'll try and get it going as soon as I'm home then
Thanks again
>>
>>2685799
ETH went through the same trials and tribulations, you impatient little bugger.
>>
most of these coins will be dead in the future due to coins with better tech and developing teams.

coins like tokencard is a good example of this and any coin trying to implement mainstream ideas when crypto isnt even close to getting a use in the real world

best to invest in crypto that is actually improving upon the technology and not shit like a porn coin meant to help you buy porn anonymously cause crypto is the future future
