Other than the top two, hilariously bad taste there anon, you are like a parody of a fag.
So I was in >>1031026 and realized a couple of things:
1 - I answer a shitton of boxing related questions.
2 - I like to help and teach people about a sport I love
3 - I've bought way too much equipment and can answer questions/give advice about stuff I've seen that's good, bad, etc
If anyone's interested, I'll post my credentials, the shit I have, and might even post some videos covering boxing basics especially for /asp/ (footwork, stance, basic combinations, beginner mistakes, etc).
If not, then at least we have another boxing general.
>>1052723
/asp/ needs less shit posting and more knowledable people posting that train. only reason why i keep coming back is i learn about judo. nice to see one about boxing.
I'm honestly interested in boxing but I'm scared that taking blows to the head is going to make me retarded. Is this something I should be worried about?
>>1052948
My grades started to improve since I started boxing last year and I've had cuts, welts, and bruises in the face
Here we go again, pic somewhat related.

>The Road to WrestleMania has, quite literally, hit a roadblock. On March 12, a special event will take place on WWE Network that could completely alter the landscape of The Show of Shows. That is because at WWE Roadblock, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H will put his title on the line against The Lunatic Fringe, LIVE at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m.
Thoughts?
Whether you like Ambrose or Not
It's obvious he's losing
>implying the title will change on some meaningless show
yeah right
>>1041784
Interesting. They've turned it from just a house show into a kind of mini PPV.
I like that it's on a Saturday because I'm an ausfag so I will be able to watch it live instead of being at work. Also Saturday crowds are better.
>>1041784
He's losing obviously
It's pretty weird though, why did Ambrose ask for a match with Brock then turn around and ask Haitch for a match (implying in the process that he'll defend against Roman). Absolutely stupid booking.
The general for the only good woman wrestler in existence

>FAQ
>Which routine to begin with?
What are your goals?
>Skills and Gymnastics: Do Foundation
>Strength: Do Foundation or Build your own routine with Overcoming Gravity
>Aesthetics
>Easy mode - Join a gym/google BarStarz/do wighted exercises
>Hard mode - Do Foundation or Build your own routin with Overcoming Gravity
>I'm REALLY overweight:what do?
Stop eating like a hippo and cardio, cardio, cardio. Don't forget to start a routine.
>How difficult is it to actually snap my shit up/how dangerous it is while doing bw exercises?
Connective tissue adapts slower than your muscles, and having great muscular strength is certainly not any indication of having strong joints and tendons; progress slowly and do mobility exercises.
tl,dr: Take it slowly
>Can I do Foundation 1 and Handstand 1 and the Stretching series simultaneously, or is it supposed to be one after I'm finished with the other?
Read the pdfs
I'm stupid: Yes, they are built to be worked out in conjunction.
e.g.: mon Foundation, tue Handstand, wed Foundation, thu Handstand, fri Foundation, sat Handstand, sun Rest
>All gymnasts are manlets, am I too tall to do bodyweight?
You can still do bw, but the taller you are (go and play basketball, bruh!) the harder it will be.
https://www.gymnasticbodies.com/forum/topic/18457-motivation-for-the-taller-guys/
>How big can someone get from bodyweight training?
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=male+gymnast+physique
>What equipment is needed for Foundation?
>F1,F2,H1
Stall Bars or Something to hold on to for Body Levers/Dragon Flags and stretching exercises
Horizontal Bar or Rings
Parallel Bars
Elevated surface/Box for exercises with elevated feet
>F3,F4,R1,H2
At this point joining a gym or having necessary equipment should not be an issue (in that you should already have everything or joined a gym properly equipped)
>Can I lift 2 to 3 times a week and do bodyweight? If so what would be recommended?
Yes, just ask anons.
Alright guys, got lots of questions
>L-sits, scapula retracted or slightly protracted? since Manna has them retracted, would it be better to focus on retraction now even when doing half/tuck L-sits? should there be focus on pushing the chest out, i.e., shoulders back?
and how bad is Antranik's form here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUZJoSP66HI
since his arms don't seem locked and his chest not open
>best rep schemes/progression? Naterman often talks about how F1 overemphasizes endurance, as well as adding too many reps per week, improper deload, and too much of a requirement for endurance.
thoughts? what do you think are F1s holes? what's your cutoff point for mastery? how would you improve F1?
>PROPER pull-up form. turns out i was overly stressing the rotator cuffs as well as using traps instead of lats, turning into this ugly hunch at the top. who knew you could get pull-ups wrong.
should scapular retraction and depression be the best pointers, as well as refraining from internal rotation? should i really focus on "pushing" chest out? can pull-ups/chin-ups crudely substitute for rows?
>should i do elevated push-ups? i can do 5x9 pushups at the moment but don't want progress into PPP yet since i'm still doing planks at 4x36 and would rather get a good planche lean first
>best/favorite source on mobility and stretching? Kit Laughlin, GB stretch series, or Thomas Kurz (Scientifically Stretching)?
I hate not being able to play in the winter. Has anyone picked up anything fun in the off season?
I guess I'm lucky that I live near Chicago and there are 3 good indoor places (CPX Indoor, O'Hare, Midwest Paintball) all within an hour drive.
There was another (Paintball Explosion) that recently shut down their indoor field and will now use it for laser tag and airsoft.
>>955825
Very lucky to live that close to cpx. I have to drive 4 hours to get there. Was there last year for LL8.
http://youtu.be/8Py-oarUZRs
>>955859
I'll probably be there this year. The actual game can be hit or miss, but the off-the-field stuff is always a good time.
Seth Rollins killed the Icon. Sting retires 0-2 in his pay-per-view at WWE. WWE will eventually go the way of WCW if they keep injuring wrestlers to the point of retirement. I'm willing to admit yes Sting had been wrestling for 30 plus years. But this is getting depressing.

It has wrestlers that people have heard of
What the hell is it with hajeeds? What cultural aspect of life in India makes them so susceptible to get worked by WWE and why are they so obsessed with Cena and Reigns? Also, I am pretty sure that a massive % take WWE at face value as a shoot.
Any theories as to why they are so easily worked?
>>1083274
They don't even have plumbing.
>>1083276
DESIGNATED
They like winners. They don't even know it's fixed. Their governments and religions are seen as absolute authorities so they don't have any concept of relativism in the face of corruption. They are innocent marks and are forever pure in their Fandom.
Is there any particular reason why Vince hates JR so much?
It's pretty common knowledge that Vince treated JR like shit for years (including mocking his brush with colon cancer, and mocking his bells palsy). Now he doesn't want anything to do with him.

>> better at commentary
5 years ago he was, he doesnt have it anymore and especially with vince in his headset.
>>1083109
>he doesnt have it anymore
Yes he does, he just needs a play-by-play wingman to help him out. He was great when he called last years Wrestle Kingdom with Matt Striker.
What are some good resources for self learning Japanese swordsmanship? I have some of the nessesary equipment such as a bokken and shinai, but I'm not near anywhere I could train with other people. I found this set of DVDs on Amazon which had good reviews, and I wanted to know if anyone with more experience thought this was authentic or if there are any better resources.
I really like this documentary about miyamoto musashi
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi4GB7XEcVg
>self learning
I don't honestly think anything valuable can be self learnt.
Do you really believe you could correct your own shitty form?
>>1082850
>set of DVDs on Amazon which had good reviews
There were a lot of fake reviews on Amazon. Supposedly, they cracked down on that stuff, but it could still be out there.

So who was Deanetty's original Wrestlemania opponent?
Kevin Owens, he's stuck in the mid card for life
Jerishill I believe
Sami Callihan but he sucked at NXT
