So, I've been doing boxing/kickboxing, etc. for a couple years. I'm looking for an art to add tricks to my kickboxing. I like throws and locks and such, but does Hapkido have any practical application?

not really on paper it sounds great but a lot of American dojangs that teach this style do compliance kata and no pressure testing of the techniques.
Since you're already a striker pick up some of the pressure tested grappling styles like judo, wrestling, bjj and sambo. If you really want something from east asia go get judo,

I really want to do Sambo, but no one close to me has it. Hapkido was just because I happened to notice a place around me. I checked out their Facebook and they posted a couple a pics from competition, so I know they actually practice.
Guess I'll just search more diligently for Judo.

Shittsburgh anon reporting...
We keep getting advertisements for a six-man tag match: Reigns, Ambrose and Jeridad vs Brayy, Sheamus and I forget the third heel. I think Owens, I'm pretty sure it's not a second LoN guy at least.
But I have some fucking problems with this.
Isn't Jericho heel now? Why would he team with Dean and Roman after that Smackdown promo?
I was hoping for heel Roman interrupting Dean's match with HHH, but now everyone knows they're still friends after Roadblock. In all likelihood, Dean doesn't win the belt either.
It's safe to say New Day retain. Why the hell would Sheamus fight without his fellow tag champ one night later? Y'know?
And finally, whatever Brock does to Bray apparently won't be too brutal if they're putting Bray on against the top faces one night later.
Any thoughts? Any sign ideas?

On this week's show there was a local ad for Philly on the 21st with Jericho on the face side in a Six Man Tag (after he had turned). Pretty sure the ads are made weeks in advance, think nothing of it.

Why do wrestlers lie about their height?
HBK claimed several times he is/was 6'1 yet HHH claimed he was merely 5'10.
Pictured here with Shawn is his trainer Jose Lithario and according to wiki is billed at 5'7
now i don't have a ruler on me but is the difference from 5'7 and 5'10 that small? or is there some sort of smoke and mirrors trick going on?
