Where in the world are you located? If japan or near japan, find a kyodo dojo. If 'merica, find a range for compound hunting, if everywhere else, find out what is active in your area and go there.
It is better to find people that already do it and learn from them than to learn from the internet. Mainly because archery accidents can send you to the hospital pretty quick.

Go to an archery club if you have one where you live. Take a course to familiarize yourself if you can. If you pick up your own equipment start off with a low poundage bow. 20-30 lbs. My first bow was a 45 lb and after 2 years of using it I downgraded and noticed a ton of shit I was doing wrong. If you want good technique you need to start low weight.
Glove or tab is up to you. Also, what kind of archery do you want to get into? Compound, or recurve? Barebow or olympic style?

>even though the ratings were a dogfight from April through August of 1998 before WWF took over, the real turn was in the late summer of 1997 and I can remember it clearly. It was the first time I saw the DX ring entrance. It had nothing to do with who DX was, although Shawn Michaels was and still is a fantastic heel. HHH at the time was an unproven guy at the time pushed because of his look, who had gone through one failed push after another before starting to take off largely due to Chyna. But it was the ring entrance and presentation that made DX special, and got everyone associated with DX over as major stars.
