IT HAS A RELEASE DATE LADS!
for those who don't know why this is a big deal this game has been in-dev for as long as berserk has been published in Young Animal
It's the ultimate throw-back to old school dungeon crawlers like Wizardry & Ultima Underworld
http://store.steampowered.com/app/650670/Grimoire__Heralds_of_the_Winged_Exemplar/
bumping for interest
Dungeon crawlers were always shit.

I agree with everything in this interview. It's clear from every cutscene all the way back to MH1 that the developers originally intended the MH experience to flesh out the "thrill of the hunt," and to have better stealth elements. I firmly believe that MHW is a good direction for the series. I'm not worried about the quality-of-life improvements, like walking while drinking potions, etc. What I'm worried about is MHW losing its charm and identity in an attempt to cater to a wider audience, and we can not know whether that is the case until the game releases. I have always believed that Monster Hunter would be best with a seamless map, and even though I'm still cautious about the series changing so drastically in a single installment (it is in our nature to bristle to extreme change, after all), I'm still incredibly excited for MHW.
>but muh arcane mechanics like completely stopping to drink my potion made the game difficult!
Difficulty is like the golden rule of algebra. If the ratio between what the character can do to what the opponent/NPC/etc can do is balanced, then the game will still remain challenging. Hunters' animations have been slow and boxy since MH1, but the monsters' animations have also remained equally predictable and boxy. Now that we have seen the ratio turned up to 2:1 for hunters, we have yet to see if the monsters will receive equal treatment to balance the ratio to 2:2. So until the game releases, any condemnation on the quality-of-life improvements to Hunter animations to the difficulty of the game are simply unfounded.
>no new weapons
Literally they could have added the ones they scrapped for 4U
Literally all I want everytime a new MH is realeased. New weapons and monsters.

What a retard excuse.
Zelda was originally meant to have party members and turn based rpg mechanics.
DMC was originally supposed to be a resident evil game.
Halo was originally supposed to be an RTS.
Ideas about what a game "originally" started out as doesn't mean fucking shit because that's not what the product they released actually was. If they want to make an actually hunting game then make some Cabela's monster world hunt spin off or something, but the monster hunter games they've released are basically just co-op boss fights in arenas with some paint and that's what people like. Deviating from that is retarded.

I want LBG to be reworked. It still feels too redundant with the HBG. Rework Blowguns into a single weapon class, and add an entirely different ranged weapon that acts uniquely to both the Bowgun and the Bow.
Lets play some CounterAttack.
It's an online co-op shmup, and I have a bunch of keys. Game "Come Play" is hosted.

So a closed-doors demo of MHW has been released, and it looks 10x better than what they showed at E3. Why would they lowball themselves like this?
https://youtu.be/x1DHztVP_nM
(caution bootleg cam quality)
Why do closed doors demos exist? E3 is to show off new stuff and create hype, showing something off only to certain people and making them sign an NDA is stupid.
This extended demo should have gone up as soon as Sony's press conference ended.

>and it looks 10x better than what they showed at E3
stop baiting
>>380820064
I agree, you'd think they wasn't to generate as much hype as possible wand show the fanbase that they didn't just shit out something completely new.
You will be getting her game, right?

You mean his game

Get the fuck in here
Play some fucking Quake
Post your ID, play some Quake someone here
Wonder how long this will survive until nobody cares, like what happened to quake live.
>>380817623
It's funny because the game is already dying in the beta. Champions has no lasting appeal.
>>380817623
nobody wanted it marketer
What went wrong? How are they going to survive once their YouTube money dries up?
Why are you asking? They're still getting just as many views as ever and now the money is divided between less people

Let's talk about this game for a bit /v/. I got it from Rare Replay a few days ago and I've been having a lot of fun with it. Right now I'm trying to get the Master Romancer Rewards for Raisants and Shellybeans, but it's taking longer than I thought.
I also just got my first Arocknid and my third Sour Pinata, the Mole.
>>380816891
That game is fucking great.
I've decided to try this game today, holy. It's quite amazing, not sure why I've avoided this game for so damn long because how it looked.
I took a break because it's too addicting.
>could have had an amazing Viva Pinata 3 with huge gardens and tons of new pinatas on xbone and w10
>instead we get the boring open world meme survival shitfest that is sea of thieves
I blame each and every one of you for not supporting Trouble in Paradise.
Can we please talk about how perfect Mario 64 is?
Super Mario 64 is perfect.
There, /thread
ok
but you can beat it in a day
Would this make for a good Telltale game? If not, what dev would do the IP justice?
It wouldn't make a good game period. The closest thing that works is something lightly inspired by it like Alan Wake. Best part of it was the theme song and music anyway. Boring show.
We already have deadly premonition op

Some things are best left as is.
I'd commit homicide for a Thundercats video game.I'm still fucking mad about the 2011 show getting cancelled.
I this chick from the 90s. I couldn't tell if her franchise was a book, show or was she an actual person.
