Any other action games packed with gameplay and replayability like pic related?
Dishonored is up there.

I have one but if I said it I'd get shit on and have to spend 3 hours defending myself and it's just not worth it because /v/ won't let you talk about certain things
>>380752124
Post it in spoilers and you'll be good.

>replayability
so you mean single-use-only trash that starts great, ends up leaving shit taste in your mouth, thus sitting in your library for all eternity, never to be touched again? If so, then there's hundreds of them.
If you want a way better MGS5 game, play the Peace Walker HD port. Fultoning and shit is way more satisfying, way better plot and cast, and super fun co-op and Versus modes.

I'd play it

I hate video games.
You already fucked up by talking about video games.

Can someone recommend me an RTS game where I can just build my village/town/city comfortably without worrying about a sudden GAME OVER screen when my opponent wins due to some non-hostile victory?
Recently been playing Civ 6 and AoE2 but the former is too strategic and I got over the latter after a few games
tl;dr: comfy RTS games ?
>>380749537
Rise of Nations has the option where the player controls both sides. I liked to select that then build cities and watch the wee roads all connect through age advance and caravans
Also Anno and tropico I guess but they're more city building anyway
>>380749537
These kind of games are called city builders, you fucking mongoloid.

Cant you just disable everthing but domination?
What's with all the black women in gaming in the last 2 years when there were practically none before?
Do black women even play videogames?
>>380749453
>Do black women even play videogames?
Yeah, I've known some, and every single one of them always makes their character black if there's character customization.
I could care less if they put black women in video games, all i ask for is make them interesting characters and not just shoe horned in because its 2017

stop being so bigoted :^)
Vanquish.
General Consensus.
The game feels more like a proof of concept than a full game. It's too short and the environments have little variety. The suit triggering slow-mo at low health is bad game design and counter-intuitive to the gameplay. The PC port has a bunch of game-breaking bugs.

Not God Hand, but still great. Definitely better than all Gears games combined.

I wish i could.

GOTY material now. It's gonna be the God Hand successor we've been waiting for

Wow now it's gonna be shit

Good, God of War has to atone for the only sin it committed and it was the QTE, along with RE4.

I really didnt like the combat and the camera behind his back doesn't look that great. I heard it will be open wolrd so i suppose it was necessary but i just doesnt look good.

E3 is finished, but Devolver are showing their ten hours of nonsense E3 show again on twitch.
If you missed it the first time it's worth seeing for the Wolf Cop documentary alone.

They didn't do the rest, that was twitch

The video had like one Sony moment. Most of it was bashing Microsoft > PC Gaming > Nintendo. Really makes you think.
http://www.siliconera.com/2017/06/14/sony-boss-shuhei-yoshida-clarifies-shadow-colossus-ps4-remake-not-remaster/
Famitsu: The next question is about Shadow of the Colossus. Is this a remaster version, or is it a remake version?
Shuhei Yoshida: “It is a remake. The game content is the same as the original version, but all the assets are being remade. I figured we could use such tech to make if we’re going to make Shadow of the Colossus in the PS4 era. Bluepoint is the development company behind the PS3 remaster versions of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. So we know them rather well.”
Famitsu: So the game will have the same content it had in its PS2 version.
Yoshida: “It’s the same, but player preferences for controls and such change over time, so we’re working on implementing a more modernized way to play. And of course you can play with a feel of the original version, but what we’re doing is showing how great the original work is, using today’s technology. Ueda-san (ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, and the Last Guardian lead designer Fumito Ueda) wasn’t that involved much this time.”
>same game
>no new bosses
>art style decimated
>ugly Unreal Engine-esque graphics
>casual friendly controls
Still hyped?
i will get it if i'm convinced that the graphics actually improve the atmosphere.
doing a side by side comparison i kind of think something has been lost, the visual noise and jankiness was a part of the original game
>>380745835
I was never really hyped. Ive already put countless hours into the game like ten years ago. This is good for new players but i don't really give that much of a fuck.
>>380745835
I always saw this more of like PS2 technical demo, or "interactive movie" rather than game. So not really interested.
>"For the moment,Microsoft’s created a machine that the DIY PC crowd can’t currently match—not when you try to copy both feature set and the cost at the same time, at least. That might be a first, given how often PC gamers tout the benefits that console fans miss out on."

>The Real Story Behind Xenogears' 'Unfinished' Disc 2
http://kotaku.com/the-real-story-behind-xenogears-unfinished-disc-2-1796151112
Kotaku actually do some good reporting every once in a while.
>Kotaku
Fuck the fuck off.
>“Honestly speaking, what had happened is Xenogears as a project was staffed pretty much entirely out of new staff members, young staff members,” said Takahashi, speaking through a translator. “Back then, we had the direction of, ‘All projects take two years and that’s when we need to get it done.’ So on top of developing the game, we had to nurture and teach and grow these younger employees. Things like 3D were extremely new, which led to some delays in the schedule. It just wasn’t possible to get everything done.”
>As it became clear that Takahashi and team weren’t going to hit their deadlines, Square’s higher-ups suggested that they just end the game after the first disc, when Fei and his team escape from Solaris.
>“It was a rough way to end it, and I felt like if we do that, then the players will not be satisfied,” Takahashi told me. “So we had a proposal—I proposed that if we do disc 2 in this way that it turned out to be, we can finish the game with the current number of staff and the current time allotted for the schedule and the remaining budget we have.”
>So they turned disc 2 of Xenogears into the montage that shipped with today’s game. Instead of playing through events like the world’s mutation and the search for Fei, you just have to watch them. And it was Takahashi’s decision—so he could finish the story he wanted to tell rather than cutting it off after the first half.
>“I do think my decision was the right one to make,” said Takahashi. “Because if we had just ended at Disc 1 it would have been bad.”
