I dropped it after two mainline temples and unlocking all towers. Felt like I saw everything the game had to offer and the formula became stale. Not surprised that simpler minds are able to enjoy this for much longer though, it's heavily influenced by Ubicollectoshit after all.

I quit after the first "dungeon." I was disgusted by what the franchise had become. I was willing to deal with the Ubitowers and generally vacant world if the dungeons would have been exceptional, but instead what I got was hardly a dungeon at all. I literally couldn't believe how praised the game was after that point.

Are they expanding the player count at all for multiplayer making it more like a BF game possibly or is it just another arcade COD shooter? I remember seeing vehicles and shit in the trailer but it might just be the campaign.

You think this is some new, video game exclusive practice? A shit tonne of hollywood writers do the exact same, they introduce new plot threads in the last act to escalate the story and add more stakes with no intention of expand upon it unless a sequel gets green-lit, same with books etc.

I'm not endorsing it, but it's so incredibly prevalent in the industry that it's not even worth getting bothered by it unless you want to get triggered every single day.

Beginning is great survival horror, middle is more arena focused and enemies turn into ammo sponges, and then the end devolves into Resident Evil 5.

Also almost every boss has an instant kill move. Fun but flawed game.

Yes, you are given a role of Geralt, the witcher whose job is to kill monsters. Yes, there's a predefined set of tools you are given to achieve that. The "role playing" aspect of this game is when you interact with the world and people placed in it. And the consequences that are tied to those interactions and choices is how all this stuff impacts the said world.

Point camera at enemy, lean heavily on the aim assist and don't try to manually adjust it too much.
In certain games (e.g. CoDs by default) it actually autotracks moving targets after the initial snap to target so trying to manually adjust actually just throws your aim off.

Having a similar problem. Coming from a mouse and keyboard to a controller is just fucking aweful. I got a Narcon controller which helps a bit thanks to adjustable software for tuning the right stick sensitivity grade, you also tend to learn to aim a lot more with movement instead of trying to always shift the stick. Practice obviously helps a lot but sadly it will always leave you wishing you had a mouse
