It could work only if the humans are played by actual players and whoever the thing is has to use assimilation to outsmart and kill everyone else.

Back when I played a lot of Starcraft: Brood War, there was a custom game called "The Thing."

It was actually a lot of fun

>Secrets for you to unlock as you progress throughout the game
>Environmental factor with a high risk/reward

Basically, whoever was The Thing could change forms at will, but otherwise was just a normal unit (I think either a marine or firebat). It was all about what mindgames you played, and when you decided to strike.

Fun times.

PSP just don't play the awful After Year.

DS is nice but really should only be played if you know how the game plays since it adds a lot of weird tricks that can fuck you over badly if you don't see it coming.

Basically it goes from wtf is this boring walking to ok I'm interested now to I want to spend my entire life in this game

one big pure fun adventure

It's a game I'm supposed to hate, but love for some reason. As a game, it's a fairly straightforward walking sim with light survival elements, but the characters, the story, and the atmosphere pull you in completely. Waiting for remake to play Changling.

point lookout is the best dlc that's ever been in a 3D fallout game. but new vegas has better DLCs overall. mothership zeta and operation anchorage are very poor.
