Check the USB cord, it's pretty poorly designed and a common fault with these. All you need is a screwdriver, the cord itself is attached to the mouse with a small internal connector and you can get replacement cords from Ebay.

Personally I'd recommend the G502. Don't get any Razer shit though, they're the Beats headphones (crap quality for insane prices) of gaming shit.

ARMS looks okay, but there's a lot of other games out i'd rather be playing. if it's still alive when it's under $40 i might pick it up.

No Heavensward? Probably nothing but level other classes. I think the content at that level is dead. I think people are only doing it unsynced level 60, so Party Finder is no go. And I don't think people are using Duty Finder for it. But on the off chance there's even just a couple of people, maybe you can do the Lv50 content as a healer/tank, otherwise queues might be horrible especially for DPS class.

Either way at 50 just grind poetics until you can get a full i130 set (should be easy) while leveling other classes you want. Get the items from Rowena, both the i120 armor pieces and the items needed to upgrade them (carbon whatever stuff). Always weapon first.

If you want to try queueing for content or making your own party finder or something or if you somehow manage to find a cool FC that'd do it at Lv50 with you, then: Once you have at least i120 start doing all the lv50 content (coils and primals).

If you aren't gonna get the expac at all tho, I'd just keep leveling other classes, started with one in each role.

i think you're locked to 50 without the expansion, unless you plan to buy heavensward real soon you could use this time to level up some other classes that seem fun
buying stormblood without heavensward will give you the heavensward expansion iirc so it might be worthwhile for you to wait

you get your job gear from the 45 and 50 quests for your class

If you plan to buy the expansion, you should do it now.
There's 100+ MSQ after you finish the fist quests of ARR and beat Ultima that you'll need to do before reaching HW but you'll still be able to level up more with them.
When I reached HW I was level 56.

AF1? You get it by finishing your job quest lvl 45 and 50, it's Ilvl90.

Though after reaching 50 you'll slowly work on getting Poetics (a new currency for lvl 50 stuff) that will let you buy the Ironworks gear set ilvl120.
