I have not owned a console since I had a PS2. I've never played a GoW game for more than 20 minutes, so I've never really cared about them.

I do plan on buying a PS4 when there's a bundle that comes with the new GoW (I assume there will be one).

I don't know jack shit about the new GoW game, but man, I fucking loved the old ones. There's just something so great about running around as this blasphemous little twat and massacring all facets of Ancient Greek Mythos that is just so deliciously satisfying.

To be fair, I was 12 years old when I first played GoW 1 and it blew my fucking mind to pieces. This was back when CG cutscenes were actually a rewarding experience rather than a boring segue to the next part of the game.

I refuse to believe there's someone out there that doesn't think the new GoW is a blatant attempt to cash-in on the success of recent walking sim, movie games like Last of Us and Uncharted. Not to even mention the blatant parallels to The Last of Us, where you initially escort a kid reluctantly and then have him grow on you. i'll even bet the sequel will star a grizzled Cucktos and a much older kid ala TLoU 2.
And if you even think the new game, is in any way a step up in terms of gameplay compared to the originals, you should reevaluate your life.
