DayZ General?
>be me last night
>spend 5 hours looking for tures and car battery for this offroad jeep at NWAF
>automatic gunfire spooks me so I head to the assorted villages and city nearby
>finally find a car battery
>head back
>jeep still there
>repair and get it running
>first time I ever had a working vehicle since standalone launched
>figure outbthe controls, drive alone the break between the NWAF border wall and fence
>driving 80kph
>game lags
>teleports me backwards and to the right
>end up wrapping the fucking jeep around the fence
>everything is destroyed
>door panels, wheels, battery
>everything
>this hurls me into a world of pissed off i have never been in in my entire life
>figure it might be there tomorrow and I can fix it up again
>go to bed

I bought this so long ago and it's made no progress. It's a scam right ?
>>376610913
At least it works. WarZ was a scam.
I check in once a year to see if they made an update or two. It's in development hell and the patches are like 6-12 months in between, but they're still chuggin'.
>be patch when paper notes still worked
>have some barrels in a house in Cherno locked behind a door with lockpick
>log out for the day, come back on
>stuff is gone, find note
>AYO NIGGA I STOLE YA SHIT AHAHAHAHAHA
>realized the houses come unlocked at every server reset
>at least they left the barrels
>scoop one up and head for the woods
I have to say /v/ I'm getting pretty optimistic about this game. I was disappointed with Lords of the Fallen, and naturally passed this off as a shitty sci-fi version of that. But with it coming out in less than a week I decided to watch some gameplay videos and it actually looks like it could be damn good. Many of the people who have played a demo say that the movement and general feel is tighter and much more responsive, some even comparing it to Bloodborne. The level design seems to be on point as well, with plenty of verticality and shortcuts and different paths that loop around. Also the mechanic of targeting and dismembering specific limbs in order to get different pieces of gear is fucking cool. My biggest concern is just that the game won't hold up. I can definitely see the quality dropping drastically as the game goes on if they don't keep up with level design and enemy variety.
Is anyone else thinking about playing it?
>>376610575
>Is anyone else thinking about playing it?
No.
I'll get it unless the reviews are bad.
I'd get it if i could play as a dismembering qt waifu
>singleplayer game
>crafting is necessary
>inventory full of crafting materials
Why do devs do this? Does someone unironically enjoy singleplayer crafting? It makes sense in an MMO but I don't see the appeal in SP at all
Upgrade your inventory ASAP

what is this cat and how can I get more of it?
>>376610187
Posting a skeleton for attention.
OP, how would you make that part of the game fun?
For example, alchemy
where you put some herbs together to make potions for your RPG character to use
how would you make that fun?
How long would you last against supertard?
>>376609929
>fighting someone with down syndrome
>ever
fuck no
They're essentially STR 10/INT 1 builds.

Tards are berserkers.
I don't know what it is about Persona games, they just seem... boring in general. I actually quite like some of the characterization contained within the social links/confidant systems, and even some of the gameplay - but the overarching plot of every Persona game I've played (from 2 to 5) has bored the ever-loving shit out of me.
I'm not exactly sure why. Even a relatively mediocre FF game (say, 13 or 15) manages to entertain me more on a narrative level than Persona games do.
Any other anons feel the same way?
the stories in persona games feel like a really dull anime, but most people who play these games probably don't watch anime so for them it feels fresh

You are just unimaginative losers who are entertained by simple Western plots.
The Persona series has a flawless storyline.
They bore me simply because IRL settings in general are boring to me now.
Anyone enjoying Dragon's Trap?
I'm getting it on Switch when I get one of those.
Meanwhile I was contemplating replaying the original. I really fucking love this game.
This your first run?
Only now did I see what you did there.

Yeah playing on Hard Mode. There's a time that slowly ticks away at your health. Now that I have more than 3 Hearts the game isn't nearly as annoying. Since you die from the timer a bit because of the RNG of if you can a Heart or not.
It's time to ask the age old vidya question... Do you choose red team or blue team?
Blue.
Red is for degenerates
The one with less players

>Schafer wants his games to “take you on an emotional journey and let you feel for other characters and go with those characters as they go through a journey.” A great work of art, he said, “lets you experience things outside of your normal life and kind of come to know yourself better.”
did the broken age make you think about yourself, /v/? do you know yourself better after backing his crowdfunding projects?
Featuring the voice talent of
>Troy Baker
>Nolan North
>Tara Strong
>Laura Bailey
>Yuri Lowenthal
>Steve Blum
>Robin Atkin Downes
>Liam O'Brien
Nolan North and Robin Atkin Downs are actually good though.
Check out Nolan's Dota 2 work. He just gets type casted because the industry are hackfrauds.
p.s. Jennifer Hale is the most overrated female voice and worse than Tara Strong in every way.

You talkin shit about my bae Laura?
It's only a few bucks on steam. Why haven't you bought it yet?
Because I don't like MOBAs
Why would I buy a game I already own and know is dead

On best case scenario they have seriously good and surprising JRPG stories with gameplay being either really nice and fast, or at decent for the time.
On average they have competent, if standard JRPG stories with decent gameplay.
On worst case scenario both stories and gameplay suck.
they're really bad and you should never play any of them, unless you breath from your mouth
How do you get past the three maggot colossi in the hinterlands when you've got an ice route? Do I need to grind hours just to respec or is there any way to actually defeat them when they just regen. I've got rank 3 abyssal breath and the crusher tail
;_;

Does anyone even have an xbone?
>>376608652
I do, I regret it so much. Never ever play the damn thing.
This is correct.

13 and even 15 are worse than FF8 easily so
>MGS2 is the worst in the series
You are actually brain dead.
>>376608334
>Inquisition worse than DA2
Nigger what.
What went wrong?
>Square Enix are selling IO Interactive and Hitman
>Deus Ex Mankind Divided flopped
>Rise of The Tomb Raider seems to have flopped and the XB1 exclusivity deal gave it bad press
>Sleeping Dogs series is dead because of the "Triad Wars" MMO
Greedy slit-eyed cunts happened.
>>376608207
No, the devs of those game are just shit. Notice how all their recent Japanese games have been doing very well sales wise.
Hitman was one of my favorite video game franchises and I was actually hyped for hitman when I saw it at E3 but "episodic release" immediately killed all my hype.
