>spend 5 hours looking for tures and car battery for this offroad jeep at NWAF
>automatic gunfire spooks me so I head to the assorted villages and city nearby
>finally find a car battery
>head back
>jeep still there
>repair and get it running
>first time I ever had a working vehicle since standalone launched
>figure outbthe controls, drive alone the break between the NWAF border wall and fence
>driving 80kph
>game lags
>teleports me backwards and to the right
>end up wrapping the fucking jeep around the fence
>everything is destroyed
>door panels, wheels, battery
>everything
>this hurls me into a world of pissed off i have never been in in my entire life
>figure it might be there tomorrow and I can fix it up again
>go to bed

I check in once a year to see if they made an update or two. It's in development hell and the patches are like 6-12 months in between, but they're still chuggin'.

I have to say /v/ I'm getting pretty optimistic about this game. I was disappointed with Lords of the Fallen, and naturally passed this off as a shitty sci-fi version of that. But with it coming out in less than a week I decided to watch some gameplay videos and it actually looks like it could be damn good. Many of the people who have played a demo say that the movement and general feel is tighter and much more responsive, some even comparing it to Bloodborne. The level design seems to be on point as well, with plenty of verticality and shortcuts and different paths that loop around. Also the mechanic of targeting and dismembering specific limbs in order to get different pieces of gear is fucking cool. My biggest concern is just that the game won't hold up. I can definitely see the quality dropping drastically as the game goes on if they don't keep up with level design and enemy variety.
Is anyone else thinking about playing it?

I don't know what it is about Persona games, they just seem... boring in general. I actually quite like some of the characterization contained within the social links/confidant systems, and even some of the gameplay - but the overarching plot of every Persona game I've played (from 2 to 5) has bored the ever-loving shit out of me.
I'm not exactly sure why. Even a relatively mediocre FF game (say, 13 or 15) manages to entertain me more on a narrative level than Persona games do.
Any other anons feel the same way?

Yeah playing on Hard Mode. There's a time that slowly ticks away at your health. Now that I have more than 3 Hearts the game isn't nearly as annoying. Since you die from the timer a bit because of the RNG of if you can a Heart or not.
