Yeah playing on Hard Mode. There's a time that slowly ticks away at your health. Now that I have more than 3 Hearts the game isn't nearly as annoying. Since you die from the timer a bit because of the RNG of if you can a Heart or not.

Yeah I really should have resetting it and played on Normal. But by the time I got the 4th heart things settled down.

I just started it on Switch, being able to toggle the modern/retro graphics and musics in real time is amazing.

Personally it's the gold star for what a "remaster" or whatever you want to call it. All it really does is put a nice coat of paint while running an emulator under it. You can switch between each type (both change music and graphics to however you want like 8-bit music over the new look). Not really adding anything more to it which is good in my opinion since I feel most remasters bloat the game too much with so much unnecessary shit that it makes the game worse.

What went on with this game's development? It wasn't commissioned by Sega, it's a fan remake, right? Did Sega just let them keep making it after it was announced? That would be pretty awesome.
