Demon's souls's boss's can be cheesed. And even if the man eater fight was one of the more difficult boss's of DeS nothing compares to Smough and Oreinstien and the bed of shit.

Another bit: DS1 halved your health on few occassions. It sure sucked when it happened, but not anywhere near as sucky as not knowing the cling ring existed in DeS.

DS1 had some more polished and amazing fights DeS had world 5. As a whole it's a lot more challenging and bullshit.

Being from Team Fortress 2. Nearly every map from that game is a pinnacle of FPS design.

A few pointers that are universal to FPS maps, however:
>Make sure you have vertical gameplay, an up/down element. This makes FPSes more fun.
>If there are dedicated respawn rooms, make sure they have multiple exits so they're not easy to camp.
>If there are snipers in the game, provide alternate routes to flank them from.
>Try and avoid chokepoints that are easily spammed by bombs (like the ship level in CoD4), or provide alternate routes around the chokepoints if so.

Despite what some shitposters will claim, the game is very easy-going. So there's no real need to 'prepare' or anything. Just do whatever seems fun!

Just enjoy the game because it kinda gets overwhelming at some point because there's fuck tons of shit to do.
Come back and ask again once you've gotten a good grasp of the game.

The recent book bundle is definitely worth it.

So far there's always been at least one game that I thought made it worth it, I usually just sell the ones that I'm completely uninterested in and it usually makes the cost pretty low sometimes even profit on it.
