There wasn't one so I guess I have to make one edition.

If you're here you probably already know were to find info about the format.
Thread question: Do you think there are any underrepresented decks in the format that aren't seeing the amount of play that they should be? Are there any hidden gem decks that you think just need to get put in the spotlight once to start seeing serious play?
And of course, what do you think will be banned this coming Monday?

Theyre travelling to the same place.
Everyone got a letter dictating to go to [Place X] from an unknown source.
Hired as Mercs.
Thrown in the same prison cell.
And they could always have met in a tavern.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that, assuming your are not a thin skinned liberal twat. Any grown up can actually play a military game and ignore politics.

Anchor Post
I have a concept for an undercover spy that I was hopping to get drawn up here. She is a ginger girl from the 1900's decent bit of freckles on her and curly reddish orange hair. She dresses in rather impoverished clothing of the lower working class, lots of dirt/soot and patch worked mending, as most people never gave them more than a passing glance. Her clothes are all rather baggy to hid the fact that she is a girl as she is still young and plain enough to pass as a boy unless someone really stops to get a good look at her. Some key pieces of her clothing are a leather satchel, for all her tools/weapons, a newsboy hat, she tucks her hair into it.
If she could get drawn up holding her silenced Luger pistol and maybe looking like she is concerned and/or frightened while trying to stay hidden from and unknown pursuer That would be great, otherwise I'm at your mercy to have her drawn as you see fit.

Last bump. Sorry for the spam, just being consistent on the requesting.
Should I open it or should I sit on it?
I really want to open it but I don't know if I'll have a use for the cards, I'm a noob and I don't even have a deck yet but I have thousands of cards from the old expansions (Urza's Destiny to Future Sight circa), most of them are not legal in modern but I think I could still build a shitty deck with some decent cards.
hold onto it if you're not planning on getting into modern anytime soon, if you are, open that shit up. even if you change your mind afterwards modern masters is a good money set.
>>55058113
The fact is that I don't know if I "plan to get into modern" because I don't know what deck to build with the cards I already have.
No, I don't plan on spending €400 to build a modern deck anytime soon. But I could still spend €100 over a month or so to build a semi competitive deck I enjoy to play with (and look at, sorry).
I can post the best cards I already have, if it can help in giving an opinion, I only need some time to load them on the pc.
By the way, I payed €200 for the box.
Here's the first pic.
I'd like to play Black and maybe another color.
Would a long living race, like the elves, ever develop witten language when they mortality is less of an issue and you can directly ask to youe great-great-great-great daddy for advise?
>>55057973
Probably, since it's less trouble to mail someone a letter than it is to travel to them and tell them directly.
>>55058011
Why send letters when you can use magic to teleconference instead?
>>55057973
Writing arose from the need to keep records of production of grain and such, not historical records.
That being said, would a race work edictic memory develop writing?
This, but with Your Dudes. What happens?

Wasn't the key only able to animate things that actually existed? If you put in a Space Marine, you'd get someone who dresses up as a Space Marine.

Is infinity a rich man's meme game?
>>55055608
>Mate of mine wants me to spend £72 on this,
So what's wrong?
>>55055608
>he cant afford spending £72 on entertainment
So hows life in the sweatshop treating you?
It's cheap per full army, not per model. You don't need 50-100 models + vehicles, you only need 5-10. But those are undeniably more expensive than most R&F infantry in mass battle games.
On the other hand, they are also cheaper than characters in most of those games.

when it practically becomes redundant. stuff like glowing lights, useless beyond looking cool.not that i dislike them
>>55054750
Does it need a can opener? A can opener MIGHT turn out to be useful. So can a length of twine, a bag of chips and the symbols of every major religion (who knows whether you'll run into vampires and how they work?). There's got to be a line drawn somewhere.
In the standard, 4 element (earth, water, air, fire) system of classifying magical effects which element does necromancy fall under?
Earth, you retard.
"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust."
>>55054344
Earth.
Everything that dies goes back to the earth, and everything that rises comes from the earth. Water
Though I guess you could make a case for fish necromancy belonging to the water element.
An overlap of Air and Earth - returning the Breath of Life to the Dust of the Body.

I have not. There's a fantasy conversion of Traveller with this conceit though, and I'd like to run that someday.
Working on homebrewing race-classes that fit the B/X alignment, would it be meritous to make Tieflings essentially Thiefs with a truncated skill list and a Cleric's turning ability, just focused on Law instead of Undead?
>>55051608
>meritous
Why does my phone know truncated, but not meritorious?
Oh /tg/. Such a fucking weird place.
>55051110
I'm working on a Middle Class Burgher table (which has "Wants" instead of "Smells", because the middle class is defined by ambition, and an Upper Class Baron table (which is sort of covered by my Ruler generators, but hey, why not). Barons are defined by their Eccentricity instead of their Smell or Want.
Hadn't considered animals though. That's a good idea.
Which game has the most toxic fanbase?

Furries... aka 3.pf players
