What do you do in your CoC games?

The guy at the bottom of the stairs is like:
"God, not again"
I'd like to buy some fake fetchlands and maybe some shocks. How are the quality now? Are they still super thin and have that ripple over the top?
Most of them don't have that issue. If anything you need to worry about cards looking too glossy. To fix that try shuffling the cards a lot until they scuff a bit so the gloss comes off.
Do you like adventurers to be celebrities? Inspiring madmen who throw around stupid amounts of cash, do a dangerous job for gold and glory, and warrant respect for their contribution to society?
Or do you like adventurers being rough, dirty, nasty men who nobody likes because they wander about killing things for a living? Short lived brutish fellows who can snap at a moment's notice and carve their way through a village because a little boy stole picked their pocket for a few silver. The kind of people that you deal with only because you have to and stay away from the bars that they frequent.
Would you be happy to hear that your daughter has fallen for an adventurer? Or disappointed and scared?
>>54857432
Generally I figure most settings would have people who viewed them as both.
>>54857432
Adventurers in my games are usually mercenaries too idiosyncratic and dysfunctional to join even large, well organized mercenary bands. They're generally the bottom rung of society, and the successful ones quickly attach themselves to actual organizations with respectability.
Bands of mercenaries.

It's a post apocalyptic setting which includes magic. The main draw of the area they will be in a a Thunder-dome style super Colosseum. I already have some fights planned out. I need some ideas for possible side-plots, or tiny stories. Show me whatchu got!

Without any more to go on from your setting...
>I need to escape! [PC's] help me!
>...or I blackmail you!
>...or I trade places with you!
>There's a long lost vault under the thunder dome
>...and the ringmaster knows about it
>...and he's looking for just the right person to open it for him
>Cultists kidnap your prettiest PC
>...to have them rule over their cult against their will
>...until the sacrifice time comes on the new moon
>GO TO /q-
NO, I just need you to throw ideas around for encounters and setting, and ways the players can foil him so I can be prepared.
So the players are a party of Goons working for a classic dark lord character.
The Lord sent them to divert the attention of THE ETERNAL CHAMPION with sub-quests and loot.
Problem: This eternal-champion guy is Demi-God level fighter and can kill most things in his path with no problem.
The plus side is that he has video-game-player level ADHD.
Pic is related- If he gets there, you probably already lost
Their is a 500 million gold reward for the world's rarest truffle, can you assist us sir? We heard tale of it being (insert far away place) we can guide you there and get it quickly with your might and strength.
Any kind of quest where you point him in a direction with a goal he'll never reach is the safest bet. But he might just say fuck it if he gets bored. Maybe if you add something like.
My necklace was stolen by a goblin mister! Please help me find it.
>So starts the grand 500 year goblin crusade at the hands of one man searching for a non-existent necklace
>Create Primarise Marines as a excuse to upscale the Marine models so they aren't so tiny compared to all the other models anymore
>end up increasing the size of all the other models as well turning Primaris marines into manlets normal marines into dwarves and defeating the whole purpose.

I'm making a DND 3.5 level 6 wilder for my friends short campaign, I noticed I can pour power points into one spell called "inertia shield" and it gives me +4 AC and a bonus 1 AC per 2 power points.
with 38 power points can I give myself +23 AC for the duration of the spell?
>>54855871
i have another question there's a 30 point buy for stats or I can roll 4D6 drop the lowest, which one gives better average stats?
You can get a total of 78 stats i think with the pointbuy and I think the average stats on rolling would be 11.25 for each but i'm not sure, am I right that the pointbuy is better than the average for rolling?

First up, the ability to augment a psionic power is limited by your manifester level; you can only spend a number of points on a given power equal to your manifester level.
As a 6th level Wilder your manifester level is 6, meaning you can only augment the power twice (1 point to activae, 4 points for aument, 5pts).
That still gives you a +6 Armor bonus to AC for 6 hours, which is pretty damn solid. If you use your wild surge ability when manifesting it, you can get it to +7, though you have to be wary of the backlsh.
As far as point buy versus Rolling, that should be decided by your DM, will rolling generally done in the company of the group. As far as stats go, Point Buy is designed to guarentee you one exceptional stat where you need it. Rolling is always a gamble that can net you anything from superman to unplayble dreck. I've always been more fond of point buy because it lets you put exactly the stats you need where you need them.
I'm putting together a kobold campaign with the end goal of somehow finally defeating the gnome god, and was looking for some input on more things to do along the way. A game like this would entail kingdom building, resource management, political dealings, extra-planar travel, and divinities, in addition to ordinary dungeon crawling stuff.
The overall premise is that a number of local kobold clans merged together for reasons, and feeling emboldened by their new size the head priests decry their newfound power should be used to somehow aid Kurtulmak and their race as a whole. Cue the assembling of a party (start around level 3-6) from the clans to strike out and acquire more power, resources, territory, allies, and such.
What kinds of things might be interesting or enjoyable to include? I've got ideas for stuff from attacking or extorting human towns, to earning/buying alliances with dragons, to establishing new colonies for war/mining, to eventually traveling to Hell and Bytopia.
>>54855229
Steal dragon egg to create your own god, paint it with Kobold art
>>54855229
Pun-Pun.
But if you actually read a little bit more into the Kobold Story, turns out Kurthmaltek sort of had it coming as he's a massive asshole. So much so that just because the flying Kobolds wern't able to help, he declared war on their deity too.
Though they only once showed up in 3.5 in concept art for whatever reason.
Also, if Garl Glittergold dies, his illusions would fail, then Cronos would escape his prison and go Kratos on every fucking Deity in the Multiverse do to grinding for a few millenia non-stop.
has the chaos space marine codex been leaked yet?
would like to be able to set up my army for fate of konor wednesday match however my local GW ran out of stock so i have pre-ordered

Hi folks, does anyone on here play the various card games of Tarot (not fortune-telling)?
I'm looking for some basic resources to start playing, perhaps online or software.
Thanks.
You top 10 Monster Manuals, Bestiaries or whatever you call them regardless of system and setting.

There is more than just Pathfinder in the bundle. Pathfinder was just the system I made products for primarily in the past. I've since stopped (and won't be making any for Starfinder)
