I've been trying to meditate for a while now, but I can never seem to completely clear my head. I'm always aware of my surroundings, the noise of the cars, other people etc.

Should I put music on, or just try harder to block everything out?

Yeah I used to be a robot as a teenager. No friends, virgin, never went out, the whole deal. Then once I got into uni I got a new start, learned how to talk to other people and keep a conversation, and now I'm living the normie life.
