Anyone have wilwoods or any info on the brand? Thinking about getting a kit.
Also general brake thread

>wilwood
It brakes really good man
Yes wilwood stops cars good
>>17214480
What car is this going on? Big brakes are overkill for most cars. Good rotors and pads make a world of a difference over most stock setups and will be a fraction of the price of a full kit.
>mfw I just realized Ford is a US company not an Australian one
>>17213844
Ford Australia is an Australian company.
Ford Motor Company is American. Confusing, I know.
>>17213873
Ford vs Holden has been such a strong historic rivalry over here that I just assumed both companies were 100% Australian. It never occurred to me that Ford cars got sold elsewhere
Are you 12?

Love it when I'm the op.

Thanks anon. I was in love at first sight.
Progress update on this. Hoping the art will be done in a day or two, then I can get to work on the vector.
Washingt/o/n meet thread
>I'm new and I don't think I have the authority to make this thread edition
In the census thread there seemed to be some excitement for a meet. I've never been to one but I think it would be a lot of fun even though I'm afraid I'll get made fun of for driving an autotragic
So what's the protocol for this?
No anon is in charge, just pick a time and place and spread the word. Meeting up near a good driving road and then going for a cruise is usually what happens.
Setting up a Kik might be a good idea if you don't want to keep bumping this thread.
I'll probably show up in an auto too unless I can get my MR2 ready in time.
>>17211742
Hm. Well, it seems like this stuff usually takes place in the Seattle area because that's where most of the people are right? I'm a two hour drive North, and don't know the area at all so I definitely shouldn't try to figure that stuff out. I was kinda just trying to promt someone else to do it.

I heard chuckanut is a fun place to drive, looking at it here it doesn't seem like it's that cool. Good scenery though and right by the bay. If you guys do think it would be a cool place, I doubt people would want to come this far north
...practically. According to Renew Economy:
>By 2030, you probably won’t own a car, but you may get a free trip with your morning coffee. Transport-As-A-Service will use only electric vehicles and will upend two trillion-dollar industries. It’s the death spiral for cars.

What do you guys think?
well clearly theyre wrong, because i aint sellin my shit.
Yeah I heard self driving cars would be the norm by 2020 too.
tip: they dont know shit. especially journalists.
Not clicking ur gay adsense bait link.
i will probably still have a car because i build this type of infrastructure
Hi, i've been offfered a Hyundai tiburon for 1.5k, it has less than 80k miles on it and all i need to do is change the front and back struts and coils. Is this a good deal or am i getting ripped off? Also would like to turn this car turbo at one point.
serious answers plz
i often wonder what its like to live through the perception of a normie

V6 is shit for boost. The i4 sucks too, but it's a better candidate for that.
If that's the one you're getting, go for it. Just don't expect much out of it in the way of performance.

It makes you think you're a racing driver for a few seconds

Looking at this 91 3000 gt and wanted to know how it is for ease of repair and longevity
>>17208945
hate to step on your toes my friend, but really awful.
REALLY awful, owning one of these things is a nightmare.
If you are one of those Jap fan teenagers who just got his license, sure this may make you look cool but it is like 2/10 to actually own.
If you're really that much of a weaboo consider getting a Infiniti G35 or something at least that will last you.
>>17208945
Get a 240 sx, delete this thread and don't consider buying a vr4
>>17208945
Do
Not
We have this thread nearly every day
The 3000gt was mediocre when it was built, and now it's a rotting piece for mediocre metal.
The 3000gt was the least reliable Japanese car then because it's got a fucking ton of shit that can and will and probably already had gone wrong, and the anons on /o/ who have one will tell you that shit breaks constantly.
Go buy a mk3 supra or mr2 or something dude
Template is OP file

I think you wanted to post a Honda.

m-muh gearing
At least I can squeak the tires off the light
6.2L LS gasser on a crewcab with no ecoshit.
If I'm towing in a city I don't even want to think about my mileage.

Can you adjust the seats on 2-seater cars like the miata and mr2?
Planning on buying a BRZ as my first manual and rwd car for DD.
Obviously I would practice manual on a shitter car or at a dealership test drive before driving this.
Is the purchase an okay idea?
>>17205384
Yes. However, the extent that you can adjust the seats may be limited compared to larger vehicles with more interior room.
>spend $5 at a car wash to clean car
>car gets dirty the next day
I can't keep fucking doing this.
How do I keep my car from getting dirty all the FUCKING time?
And how do I stop the fucking rain from putting those water spots on my fucking car?
>>17174448
If you put wax on it it'll make it really easy to clean with just a hose down
get the $10 wash you greedy jew
Garage the car at the home, office, and club.
So I cut polished and waxed my car recently, it looked excellent in my opinion
But after only a month the hood appears to be oxidizing again, not just dirty
What do I do? Is this normal?
Original before/after, its currently around 1/3 of the way back to the before
yeah its probably normal
you should clay your car and wax it again. that'll remove the contamination and give it another layer.
>>17153538
You just got to repolish it every month, thats the thing m8o
>>17153538
you should have paid someone to do it right lmao
congrats on fucking your shit up

>>17221708
At least you have (had?) a girlfriend. Most people on /o/ are too autistic to even try to hold a conversation with a girl.
