Audi will be producing a RWD R8 now, even they realized that full time AWD is overweight and useless shit.

So they just took a Huracan LP580-2 drivetrain, dropped the power even further to 540hp and shoved it into an R8.
How exciting.

Because it was a Suburban with the roof cut off and served no practical purpose that either a Suburban or Silverado couldn't have handled much better.

Fuck that, where's my new Baja Turbo?
>>17859674
Where's my two door Baja to begin with? The bed on these was fucking silly, you wouldn't even have had to stretch the body from a Legacy wagon if it had been a two door.
Redline me on porsches /o/.
Specifically a used Cayenne S. I'm considering getting one in the future. I hear the newer ones only have 4 cyl. turbo instead of the 6 cylinder porsche is known for though.
>what do you think of them
>how do they look
>what's the interior quality like
>are they reliable
>what kind of maintenance costs can one expect
>can you even work on them yourself given how the engine is positioned? do you pretty much have to pay a shop thousands to drop it every time something goes wrong?
If you don't like them what would you get instead that was at least as luxurious with similar or better performance and looks?
>>17859600

>>17859603
Fuck me. I meant Cayman. I don't know why I typed Cayenne.
>>17859640
Caymans are pretty damn fantastic, although a bit down on power so they don't intrude on the 911's territory.
Maintenance-wise they're far from bad, Porsche has a great track record when it comes to reliability and you can do most things yourself, on older ones at least.
Parts aren't gonna be shitbox-tier cheap obviously, they take a lot of oil so oil changes are fairly costly, and if you take them to a shop (or god forbid the stealership) be prepared to pay out the ass since these are still high-end German cars.
Hey guys, Italy here.
I'm a small time business man in the trade of selling cars, and I heard that the Asian market in particular is on the come up of booming for buying classic cars.
Do any of you guys happen to know any Asian auto market website that I can post on to sell cars in?
Anything would be appreciated.

Best way to paint calipers while leaving them on the car?
Just spray paint them. Any paint that gets on the rotor will be worn off just by driving it.
>>17859353
It's two bolts per caliper. Just take it off.

*smacks lips*
I recently bought a BMW 1 series 118i. It's a 2010 reg and has very low mileage. I love it so far, but fuel consumption is pretty grim.
It's an auto, which I thought might improve the fuel consumption as I do a lot of inner city driving. However, I'm getting about 280 miles out of a full tank.
Is this reasonable when doing short city journeys, or could there be something wrong with the car itself? It's all under warranty at the moment so I figured it would be better if I got any issues fixed ASAP.
>>17859111
No you should be getting much more than that. We're talking about a low-revving NA I4 engine in a lightweight car, you should be getting at least 350 miles per tank. Even my 2007 530i is getting more miles per gallon than your car which is insane.
>>17859147
Thanks for the response.
Are there any particular issues which could cause such shitty fuel consumption?
It has had a recent oil change, new tyres, new brake pads (not that this would make a difference). Exhaust is fine, no blowing.
Petrol tank leak maybe? Something catching underneath?
>>17859166
It could be a problem with the fuel lines or the fuel filter. Could also be clogged injectors. What is the mileage on it? You might need new spark plugs.
I live in the states, but RHD is soooo much easier to hoon in!
Is there a way I can import a RHD chassis either complete or missing a powertrain or front cut affordably?
Also, I live near Mexico.
Why would RHD be easier to hoon in?
>>17859085
Yeah I'm sure you can
Name of the girl?
Have fun overtaking people on the highway and making your turns. It's an automatic but I saw this a couple days ago from an importer and it was listed for two grand. Probably around four or five grand by the time it's in the states and registered and all that jazz.
You're going to spend multiple times as much to try and build one off of a chassis or some other incomplete bullshit you don't want to deal with.

Why fuck around with building a tube frame when a civic already weighs practically nothing. You also wouldn't have to register and insure it as a kit car.

Does using AC use more gas in your car? I keep hearing some people saying yes and some people saying no.
It does, but it's not a hard hit to your mileage anyways b
The power to run the compressor has to come from somewhere.
And it's not a small amount of power, like the difference between your headlights being on or not.
>>17858826
Yes but the increase in energy to run the A/C is often less than the increase in energy needed to drive with the windows down due to increase in drag
Okay busriders, solve this.

>>17858778
2 3 1 easy
2 has the right of way, 3 is on the same road and 1 is joining the main road or somehitng so he has to let other people drive first
>>17858778
Car 2 goes first since he's in one the right lane and is going straight. Car 3 turns the corner while Car 1 yields and wait for his turn, then he is free to go.
