Okay /o/ so I picked my car up from the dealership Friday after they replaced the engine. Friday evening and Saturday the car ran preddy gud but this morning (Sunday) I was coming off the expressway and when I got to the red light my tachometer dropped to zero and the check engine light flashed rapidly a few times. I drove it back to the dealership even though it's Sunday because I was going to leave it there. I get there and park and then the car won't start.

I try several times within a 30 minute timeframe and the car finally starts. It seems okay and started up fine several times after that. I thought I would go ahead and drive it the rest of the day and hope that was just a glitch. But the tach dropped to zero again and CEL flashed and the acceleration started feeling wonky again. Drove it to the dealership again and parked it and left the keys since it wouldn't start again.

I'm just wondering if anyone might think they know what is wrong with this car. The original engine developed a rod knock and we had to hire an attorney to get the dealer to fix the car since it was a lemon. But it's still not fixed, obviously. I just hope it's a minor issue. They said the car was good to go Friday.

Those rotors are absolutely fucking toast.
I also don't think you know what brake fade is.
Those brakes are scored.
The sound sounds liek something stupid.
If the car doesn't make the sound when you rotate the wheel by hand in the air it's probably the bearing though.

I just coast to a lower speed and then gently apply the brake as I approach the stop, then depress slightly to come to a complete stop, ending with lifting off the brake just slightly so that the stop is smoother for my passengers.
After that, when able to move again, I let off the brake gradually and depress the accelerator in a slow and linear fashion in order to maximize fuel economy and comfort.
