why are they so awful?
Can't speak for the mechanical aspects, but the interior is miserable and 99% cheap plastic.

What model is this car?
E32, unless my eyes deceive me
Yeah e32. Vertical edge on the blinkers. Also, narrow grille, so my guess is 730i or 735i

another picture if it can help you clarify
What do you guys think about the following 3 cars:
2015 Focus ST
2013 FRS
2010 Challenger R/T
I like that the FRS is cheap and reliable, but it doesn't have much power
The Focus is still a Ford, and the only FWD of them
The R/T wild screw me on insurance, but has more power...
Thoughts?
>phone posting
Stop
FRS is best followed by dodge followed very very far by the focus.
Fwd focus and the engine sucks after 60k miles. My friend just bricked 5k out of warranty and ford won't cover it. Get the toyoburu
>>17864538
Why?
I currently drive a fully loaded 2012 infiniti sedan, its paid off in full and is very reliable and my DD, I want to buy something a lot more fun and performance focused and am specifically looking at an e46 M3. Is this a stupid idea or possibly a good one? this would technically be a downgrade in the eyes of a noncar fag
E82 135i is about the same power and newer. Check the water pump and the thermostat and its probably a good option that still looks new to normies
>>17864534
Don't do it OP you will literally die.

i have a bmw m3 e46..
if you get a good one, no subframe damage, full car fax, from a used dealer. youll be great. get the SMG, theyre loads cheaper. 4k to put in manual.. cost mostly labor, around 1k in parts. finding someone to do it, a bitch.
when you get an m3, IMMIDEATELY oil and coolant change
get cone air intake for more aggresive sound. most importantly love the car
this thing is adorable

Also this is supposed to be a more closer and earlier look at the up-coming 8 series.
Here's the 8-Series Concept
15,000 miles and i had no issues with suspension. 15,000. Ive been living at these new apartments for 1000 and the drivers side started making a groaning noise when im turning while the car is cold. I know its either a wheel bearing or a tie rod because the wheel has side to side play now but hooo this gets me angry. I know its the speed bumps because theyre like 6 inches tall, theres like 100 of them, and the same shit is happening to my mom's car now after driving in and out.
Why is it legal to damage other people's vehicles? Its not like its making people not speed they just accelerate in between bumps.
>>17864406
>living in an apartment complex
just remove them one by one, one week at a time
>>17864406
is it like a metallic scraping noise when you just start rolling? Mine does that and it is just the brake rotors shaving off the layer of rust it gathered over night
Tesla remotely extends range of vehicles for free in Florida to help owners escape Hurricane Irma... Until Sept 16 . After, a Tesla owner contacted the company, saying that they needed an additional 30 miles of range to get out of the mandatory evacuation zone.

Usually this is a $3,000 upgrade..., must e nice to buy something then still have the manufacture still have so much control over it.

So I just did a compression test and my results were 140, 180, 150, and 135, in that order. I did a wet test on the cylinders that were low and they didn't increase by more than 5-10 psi, so I don't think my piston rings are bad. There is too much variance, right? What would cause a couple low ones on opposite sides of the engine? I don't think it's a head gasket because I'm not seeing any other signs of head gasket failure
tiny crack in the block (rest in pieces) or maybe fine grooves in the cylinder walls.
either way, engine is probably fucked
>>17864213
Fucked valves, fucked stem seals, fucked head gasket...could be any of these...

Are racing seats rice, or are they genuinely more comfortable than normal seats and have a use outside the track?
>>17863781
only if they're adjustable. non-adjustable ones are a PITA.
They dont have a use on the track desu. Saving weight is a meme unless you are actually racing.
They aren't comfy. The harness is helpful but not really.
Just fucking time yourself with the normal chairs. If you get faster by losing weight you didn't really drive better you just cheated and spent money to do it
>>17863785
This.
>>17863790
Not this.
They do save weight on track, and actually hold you in place unlike a road seat.
Running a harness in a car without a roll cage is a sure fire way to spinal compression and ending up in a wheel chair. Don't run track with racing seats and harnesses without proper mounting points.
