Fairlady 300zx/350z/370z thread.
I'm curious what you all like or dislike about them. For those of you who own one, tell us what you've done to it or plan on putting in it.
I recently picked up a JDM Z33 for $5k and plan to put in an aftermarket oil cooler and air intake right away.
I'm curious too. Polite sage.
>>17673770
I think they're ugly, and after I came to that conclusion I stopped thinking about them.
>>17673770
The 300zx is really cool imo. Made great power for it's time, even if the engine compartment is packed as fuck. That's just good use of space for the engineering team.
But they scare away enthusiasts because they are so hard to work on and all the TT engines have been romped.
The 350z has aged terribly but the 370z did a great job with making it look good again. Good sports cars, not great. Pretty good engines. Nothing spectacular about them.

Gran Turismo? I've learned quite a few things about cars, mostly theoretical stuff though, but still, through playing GT4 and 5

Opinion on this beautiful car? How reliable was the Saturn cars... Astra, Ion, etc
It was a company basically made up of gray market imports so that people could 'buy american' and still get their imported tuner cars.
The Ion Redline was the most worthwhile thing to own and that was only because they could be found for pretty affordable prices. There were two OEM kits for it that would bring the hp up to 236-241 which wasn't bad at all for a sub 3000lbs car.
>>17673361
All Saturns up until the Ion were built in America. The Ion was built in Tennessee.
Anyways OP, they're pretty reliable. Not exciting unless you have a Sky or an Ion, but reliable and decent.
It still upsets me that the US never got the hot versions of the Astra, Vectra/Aura and Insignia/Regal.
What are your thoughts on people that put those "Baby on board" signs on their car
Faggots.
That those poor suckers have a wife with no real sense of humor.
The worst is the "My kid is an honor student at fuck off middle school". Who cares. But your kid will probably be offended if all of their friend's parents have it on their car but you refuse.

>The worst is the "My kid is an honor student at fuck off middle school"
That's done for the kid. They eat that shit up. And you would have too.
Just a thread about Tesla, prices, hopes and new stuff. Please be civilized and do not start a war about electric vs petrol they both have advantages and disadvantages
Tesla is shit and it's owners are faggots.
I would recommend not mentioning what can go wrong in a tesla thread as the OP of the tesla thread. it's kinda inviting the things, you know
anyways, the TM3 trunk is xbox hueg. MPGe has been confirmed as 126 as well. really good.

Why are cars assumed as inherently masculine things, /o/? I'm not trying to be a /pol/tard here and lashing out at the "muh SJWs" strawman but it really bothers me that so many people associate having an enthusiasm for wheeled machines as some expression of sexuality. Does anyone even see their car as a form of masculitiny? Isn't it just a machine with intrinsic value derived from its engineering or aesthetics or or what not?
Please discuss, I'm tired of being labelled as a macho exhibitionist for wanting a mildly cool sports car like a 944 or an RX7 ;_;
Normalfags are retarded and take anything good out of something and dilute it to the most boring things possible. Like cars and racing? Normalfags do it to be fuckboys and look rich, and people think you do too because they can't imagine something alternative.
>>17666834
They are inherently masculine things, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. People who are scared of masculity tend to be weak, queers and women who cry Wolf but then drop on their knees take the full knot.
Let me say this again, the only people who hate masculity, are those who cannot achieve it.
>>17666862
How the fuck is a mechanical contraption primarily conceived for transportation somehow a masculine thing? Please teach us, alpha-male-senpai.

Well, I wish it were that simple, Boomhauer, but I'll tell ya hwat my truck really needs: leadership. Detroit hasn't felt any real pride since George Bush went to Japan and vomited on their awdo executives.
Cars you like for your own reasons.
I'll start. I don't care about the engine, I don't care about the spotlight. Its design captures something and evokes feelings I can't adequately describe at the time of this writing.
What's the car feel only you know, anon?
Probably the civic ek9 type r. Not really too powerful, not really special in any way. But it has a special place in my heart.
I like this car in particular because it represents what a car should be like. It was always a halo car for me, lacking in comfort but delivering what I thought to be the most pure driving experience ever.
Unfortunately, it's not an easily attainable car. But once I got to drive one, it greatly exceeded my already elevated expectations.
What a beast.
It's an underpowered shitbox that's almost 25 years old now, but you know, it's silly to say that you're driving a mid-engine rear wheel drive car (which you are).
>tfw you make a mistake once on the road and you get honked at hard and the car that honked you starts yelling at you and drives erratically to get in front of you.
feels bad man.
>>17677834
Also the mistake was that there was a very large gap to change lanes.
I have my indicator on for a few seconds to let person know I'm changing lanes.
do my head check and start going but the person behind instead of maintaining their speed or leaving the gap to give way decides to speed up and close the gap just as I am making my lane change.
like wtf. I always let people through when I see they are indicating
why doesn't anyone do the same for me.
I'm guessing I'm sticking to quick lane changes where I basically don't indicate until I I'm in the motion of changing lanes. since no one seems to like to give way anyways or just close the gap when they see you want to get in their lane.
>>17677834
Have some balls, honk bag, drive erratically to get infront of him.
In nature, males are only allowed to be as violent and erratic as other males will allow them to. Meaning, if you smack that bitch, he'll calm down. Every asshole you've met, needs a good smack.
If people cut me off or do something retarded sometimes I get right behind them and lay on the horn for literally 2-3 minutes, like right behind them on the horn, not releasing it, for minutes.
