Can someone please help me find the worst e-book novel ever.

It's absolutely awful. It's on amazon. The plot involves feminism and farting and other disgusting elements.

I can't describe it well as I've only read clips of it. I'm pretty sure the plot is about a man who journeys the world and is awoken by his own farts after pushing an overweight woman off a cliff after having lengthily excoriated liberalism.

It's a masterpiece of outsider art.

TY in advance. You're my only hope.

My first guess is Joyce, likely Ulysses. What do I win?

What does it mean? Fuck all. Especially if no one can read it.

Pretty beautiful. Telling that the oldest text known to man is about the fear of death.
>>
It's OG as fuck, OP. Good baseline materials for exploration of myth (in subsequent texts). Interesting as an anthropological document. Good shit.
>>
Really beautiful and a great way to get into epics. It also blew my mind how much this book had in common with the Old Testament.

Underrated and not read by as many people as it should be.

What do you mean by "purests souls," OP? Like Mr. Rogers or some shit? If so, then any book about the loss of a child should hit the spot. How about the opening of Paradise Lost?

What's the most difficult punctuation mark to use correctly every time, and why is it the comma?

Does anyone have trouble with this fucking thing? Or am I just retarded?
13 posts and 2 images submitted.

>>10029332
No, I usually, find, comma's are actu, ally pretty easy, to. use,

how;eve,r semicolon;s can be a bit, more, problem'atic
>>
You're not retarded. You just don't understand how to use it properly. You use it correctly in your first sentence, though. So you have that going for you.

If you can even get to bukowsku-tier cringe then you can ask this question you arrogant fuckwit.

Don't exaggerate with overwrought metaphors. Write honestly and simply. Listen to Mount Eerie's A Crow Looked at Me for an example of painful directness.

I want to buy Niven's 'Ringworld'. I'm also the type of guy that likes owning the book, and a good version of the book, for instance: Not a mass market paperback, but hardcover. Or if there is a nice matching set, the matching set.

I realize there are multiple books in Niven's Ringworld 'series', so is there a certain edition/version I should buy? Also I think the cover on the current edition is just plain ugly. Pic related.

>>
>>10029743
I'm not judging the book by it's cover. I want the book, I don't like the cover.

I'm also wondering if there is a publisher that published all the books in the series in a similar style so if I want to continue on I can.

I like writing fiction but I hate reading other peoples books. My only issue is my vocabulary is pretty shit-tier. Is there a way to improve my vocabulary without reading books I don't give a shit about it? Please give me advice.

Is this a ruse? I can't even tell anymore..
>>
>>10029215
Same, but I'll go for an answer to >>10029194.
The short answers are both yes and no. Yes, you can use vocabulary training programs such as Memrise to build vocabulary, but no, you won't be able to apply new vocabulary unless you're actively employing it by writing and reading diverse texts. There are no shortcuts unless you're precocious, which you're not, so buckle down and keep reading and writing.

And stop watching anime, OP. It's fucking awful and will not contribute toward your goals.
>>
>>10029223
I can't finish reading at least 99% of books. I already met all my goals really and wrote over 30 books and write at minimum 2,000 words a day and sometimes up to 10,000 words in a day, But my vocabulary is pretty basic. No one has complained though but I hate not being aware of a certain word.

Don't know how I can finish reading a book when the only reason I'm reading it is for the vocabulary and not the story/anything else.

Anime is pretty fun to watch, understanding why people like anime will help you write better books anon. I already know how cliche and flawed the stories can be yet I still watch them.

Did Ayn Rand have a rape fetish? She got really in depth when Howard fucked Dominique for the first time.

>>
Of course she did, haven't you read the rest of the book?
>>
Just a hint, OP. Perhaps the graphic presentation of the rape has less to do with fetishization but rather more to do with the themes in the The Fountainhead being localized to a power struggle between those two characters.
>>
>>10029188
Yeah but did she have a rape fetish?

Will I be the only person on /lit/ who buys this when it comes out?
5 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Most likely, yes, OP. This isn't a board known for celebrating popular literature, nor is it particularly interested in genre, at least in the manner that Brown and his ilk explore it. You're better off sharing your thoughts on /x/, of all places, considering the goofy machinations Brown employs to come up with sub-par commentary on contemporary institutions. It's tedious reading, and few (if any) people here will care if you make another thread once you finish it.
>>
already pre ordered it
>>
I don't have anything against pop lit.
I do however have something against one trick ponies.
ie Writers who had one massive hit and then just figured "Fuck it, I will just write that book 10 more times because people are stupid and will keep buying."
John Grisham and Nicholas Sparks also apply to this.
But if you enjoy it, go for it OP.
