do you know where i could find a way to bring this knife in canada ? Or any knife that is legal and looks like these knives ?
>Go to any American truck stop.
>Buy one.
>Return to Canada.

Canadian here.
I own one. I bought it at a gas station. A Canadian gas station. Technically I've owned three but I keep losing them.
Stop being a faggot and go buy one.

What exactly is a "iron pipeline"
>>33912582
Supposed flow of funs from less lenient states to my pretty aight-ish of a state's shithole leader (NYC).
If somebody wanted to beat every citizen of NYC to death WITH an iron pipe though, I'd not be opposed.

Planning on picking up a new handgun soon. Currently between the Beretta 92a1 and the S&W model 686 6". I already have a PX4 that I love so these would probably both be more range toys, maybe a camping gun with the 686. The Smith would be about $100 more. I wanna hear from anyone with experience with one/both of these guns. Also any suggestions besides these 2 are welcome.
Pic kinda related.
Both are good guns. If you just want to try something new, you should go with the revolver; the 92A1 is redundant in light of how you already own a PX4.
Also
>6'' 686
It will have better ballistic potential, but it will also be more unwieldy. If you want a longer barrel .357, you should get an N-frame like the 627 (holds 8 shots!). For something like the 686, a 3'' or 4'' barrel gives you both good ballistics and nice handling characteristics.
Some others that you should consider:
*The reborn Model 66 (It's a K-frame that fixes the problems the old K-frames had, is available in 2.75'' and 4'')
*Ruger GP100/GP100 Match Champion (Strongest production revolver on the market while being less expensive than a comparable S&W)

apples to ornages m8
the problem with X vs X threads is youre either comparing two very similar guns (hey guys glock 19 vs M&P compact) or two different guns (hey guys a .357 revolver vs a 9mm Beretta)
ask yourself what it is youre looking for in a gun, if nothing else flip a coin. when its in mid air your heart will tell you what it wants
sounds like you want the revovler and are just trying to justify it. Personally id go for the revolver since you already have a px 4
>>33913793
I can get a really good deal on this specific smith, but can't get any other smith or a ruger. Thats one of the reasons for these 2 specific pistols. I have also always wanted to own a 92, and whether I get it now or not I will eventually get one.
Ask a YPG soldier anything
How does it feel being a massive faggot?
No one gives a fuck about YPG anymore.
No one gives a fuck about you wasting your time and money just to get a little attention and your 5 minutes of fame.

Timestamp with service weapon and/or issued gear. Did you encountered any westerm volunteers, like this /k/ fag over here?
I'm thinking about getting a Remington 700. Beautiful and practical. Gonna get it tactical but I'm not sure whether I want it in 308 or 300 win. I'm leaning towards 300 since it has more balls. What does /k/ think? Or should I get a different gun altogether?
>>33911698
what do you need a grenade for
>>33912298
But he's not getting a glock.
Jesus christ, no. Tikka CTR 20/24", Savage, or RPR. If you really want it in a chassis, go out and get a MDT ESS, or a MPA. If those aren't expensive enough for you, DTA, or Surgeon.

Make sure you cook the tire fully, dont want avian flu
Should I get the 20 inch big boy or the 16.5 inch big boy? I don't hunt so this will be a range toy (plus I live in a shotgun hunting only state.)
>>33911350
Caliber and target distance in case it matters?
>>33911684
.357 (more likely .38) and 50 or 100 meters
And possibly as a back up HD gun if for some reason I don't have my shotgun

what do you mean by black powder?
Okay so lets for the sake of argument say that getting propellant gasses vented into the receiver is a real problem, how about just lengthening the gas key on the bolt carrier by like 3 inches so that it doesn't come off the gas tube at any point of it's travel? This way no gas is vented into the receiver.
>>33911076
The gas key still leads down into the receiver.
>>33911076
So a gas piston? You best harmonize the barrel and check the ammo or your MOA will get fucked.
>>33911116
This
So we know the problems with caseless ammunition, but what about disintegrating (sublimating) case ammunition?
> Sublimation is a very endothermic process, would absorb heat from firing, and deal with overheating issue
> Case material would be much lighter than metal casings, probably a polymer
> Resulting gas would exit barrel, removing need for ejection mechanism
It's potentially the best of both cased and caseless ammunition.
>>33911060
What about cost per bullet?
>>33911164
It shouldn't be too much really, it's more a question of creating a relatively cheap and mass-produceable (likely polymer-based) material which goes from a solid to gaseous phase with no intermediate liquid transition at the temperatures and pressures experienced inside of a firing chamber during the explosion of the propellant. If that could be done at a cheap cost then the cost per bullet could be comparable or even less than that of standard bullets, considering polymers are in many cases cheaper than metal.
>>33911273
>it's more a question of creating a relatively cheap and mass-produceable (likely polymer-based) material
well, shit, if thats all that needs to be done i dont see what the issue is. while we're at it we might as well make a plastic to replace the metal parts on gun as well
It's /x/s birthday! Please visit /x/ at 4:20 and make a congratulatory happy birthday thread. There will be cake.

I'm looking to get a new 9mm, and I'm now torn between a few different options.
Glock 19 or 17

>Common parts/aftermarket
Hk USP or P30L

>Will continue to function perfectly long after I'm dead
Sig p226 or p229

Any advice?
my usp is fucking amazing.
I love it
glocks are pretty good
I dont like sigs

i'm not one for polymer. but if i were to get one, it'd be a usp. super sexy smooth imho. and honestly i prefer a paddle mag release.
