First one appears @ 1:43 to be a M46 Patton, second one also appears to be a M46 Patton, third one is a M47 Patton, third one (not through the fence) M24 Chaffe
>>33905643
The first one is an M26.
Ah, the First Division Museum at Cantigny. I used to volunteer at the front desk in my high school days, wonderful place. The tanks in the tank park are as follows (in no particular order)
>Renault FT
>M3 stuart
>T-25 (Or T-26), prototype of the M26 Pershing
>M46, M47, M48, and M60 Pattons
>M41 Walker Bulldog
>M24 Chaffee
>M551 Sheridan
>M1 Abrams
>M113 APC
Off the top of my head. There's also a sherman inside the FDM itself. The park is currently accessible, but the museum is closed for some major renovations until this august to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the 1st Infantry Division. About time imo, the museum was always good but needed a newer image since the main exhibit gallery only covered the 1st ID up until Desert Storm.

Speaking of reading material, would anyone have the link to the torrent for the Do/k/ument?
Selling your guns! How do you feel about parting with your guns?
I have some I never really use or shoot and I could get rid of them for some extra money. However I'd hate to part with them for their own little reasons.
Like I haven't really touched my nugget since I got it and shot it once or twice, but it's a nice piece of history I like, but it's just taking up space.
Or I could sell my Px4 Compact but it was my first gun and has sentimental value.
Is a few hundred bucks for getting rid of obsolete property worth losing out on the memories?
>>33905283
that's a cute anime
For self defense purposes my 300blk would do just fine. Also would work quite well. For a concealed carry piece I could just use my shield. So really, as far as usefulness, I could pare it down to just 2. However, usefulness is not why I collect guns. I collect guns so that my children will have a hell of an inheritance. As well as a big pile of gold for each of them, but that wasn't the topic of this thread. To answer your question, no, I don't sell guns. I even regret selling the one gun I have sold, a single shot 20 gauge piece of shit.
Stop being poor and you won't ever have to.
/k/ can you help me with some ideas to turn my 2008 Ford Escape In to a BOV (Bug Out Vehicle)
>>33905157
Sell it and buy something with more ground clearance, torque, and cargo room than an asian sedan.
>>33905222
Like a Toyota? Faggot.
Sell it and get an actual utility vehicle.
How sharp should a knife's edge and point be if it's being used for self-defence?
>>33904981
edge doesnt really matter as long as the point is pointy
you stab not slash
>>33904994
But how pointy is enough pointy? If it's able to punch through cardboard easily, is that enough?
I sure hope you train knife fighting extensively, otherwise if the other party is even a little stronger than you, it's going to end up in your gut/breast. Since you posted a folder, I can safely assume you are just a retard. Do you know how hard you have to thrust to stab someone? What do you do if you get caught up on a rib or sternum? With that folder, or most folders, you hand will slide forward onto the blade and now you'll have a pissed off assailant and a fucked up hand. Fixed blade is for knife fighting. Folders are for packages and twine and small utilitarian purposes
What would be /k/'s recommendation for a competition style pistol thats not shit and not expensive? Like $2000 max.
>>33904873
what competition are you shooting
>>33904873
im in the same boat and ive been looking at pic related
https://www.smith-wesson.com/firearms/performance-center-mp-9l-pro-series-core
jerry miculek really seems to like them, and it's only $100 more for an extended threaded barrel
>>33904873
Which competition?
>NRA Bullseye
For centerfire, you have the STI Trojan and maybe the STI DVC Classic on sale. For rimfire you can get a Walther GSP Expert for well under $2k, as well as potentially a used Hammerli or Pardini.
For IDPA/USPSA/IPSC/Steel Challenge it will depend entirely on division, although if you're shooting Production a CZ P09 is tough to beat due to the blend of capacity and good trigger.
For 3-gun it's really really fucking hard to beat a CZ75 Czechmate, since they have no hammer-down-start requirement or pistol regulations and it's the only "race gun" that retails for under $2k.
Call me a heretic but..
>Neither 5.56 nor 5.45 is better than the other
>battle rifles are SO last century
>10.3 inch AR's are downright unpleasant to shoot unless suppressed
>My M39 really isnt that much better than any of my other nuggets, I actually prefer one of my dragoons
>M39 triggers still SUCK
>Most Russian camo is ugly as hell
>I hate comps on AR's, they are superfluous.
>I find most poly framed striker fired pistols boring as fuck.
>the m16a2 is literally the worst of all the m16 family
>i unironically like having a forward assist.
>AK iron sights pretty much suck for anything past 100 yards.
>>33904841
>battle rifles are SO last century
they've just been turned into dmrs
>I find most poly framed striker fired pistols boring as fuck.
pretty sure everyone here agrees with you
>>33904841
>Neither 5.56 nor 5.45 is better than the other
That's not an opinion, that's you being flat fucking wrong with literal decades of science that proves it. Even when comparing military loads and discounting the (frequently much better) civilian offerings, 5.56 has an advantage in literally every single category.
The rest of that is either fact or substantiated opinion from a place of reason, and I commend you for that.
>>33904841
>iron sights pretty much suck for anything past 100 yards.
Two questions /k/mart shoppers
1) for those of you who own the P320 how has it treated you so far?
2) since the frame and all of that is interchangeable does that make the Polymer cheaper than the competition?
I bought a full size frame in .45 ACP for about $500 and the only problem I've had with it, is that it doesn't like Wolf steel cased ammo very much. It would usually hang up around the third or fourth round, but I think it might be Wolf's inconsistent loads. Otherwise, the gun shoots like butter and feels very nice to shoot overall.
>>33904757
I love mine. It's a tack driver and has had 0 malfunctions so far after approx 3k rounds.
Love my P320 RX compact. I put the Apex advanced trigger on it and it really sweetened the trigger pull. My only complaint is that I can't for the life of me find the small grip size frame. It's literally in stock nowhere.
Well, Komrades, show off your budget build!
Just finished my 7.62x39 AR was able to just squeeze in under $490 (had some parts)
Now just thinking about an scope 1-4x
Any recommendations in the mid tier?
